want to use mother nature super tea grow and bloom, is it ok to use it with soil i build myself? soil, steralised sand, perlite, baby food, crushed egg shells, fish blood and bone meal, see weed kelp, home made compost, i just want to know cause i dont want to over feed, any advice?
thanks

Looks like you're loading up on N, maybe a bit too much. I doubt you'll need the super tea grow but the bloom looks good. Also, doubt you'll need the sand if using perlite. IMO sand tends to compact the soil too much for autos. I also think your mix might be a little to hot for seedlings.

I thought the sand on top of the soil was to prevent certain pests

Yes, that will help to prevent fungus gnats. But that's different from mixing it into the soil.

Muddy is correct here, that is one thing that i learned about sand, it will compact the soil and every auto i grew in it got stunted. After a few good waterings the sand became compacted and the roots couldnt push through it as easy as with the high ratio of perlite.

also on the nutes, the soil you have made will be good enough to get them through with out the bloom. Its pretty close to what i use in my soil. The bloom booster will improve the nuggs but keep it light and make sure to flush them. As Muddy said the soil will kill seedlings or force males so start them in something that is really light on ferts. The compost should do the trick alone

Thanks I thought he was putting it on top
Thanks fellas
