Outdoor Smokey's 2020 Grow - Summer- Autumn Winter

Hey GTG !
Thank you The tarp is super easy, i just lift it up and down. I keep the structure there permently for now. I currently take the ladies to be at 5pm and up at 7am. I could, add a second power board just for the T5s. Extend the evening light and keep the 7am , though sun is on their spot at 8am. Pretty dark at 6am,
My city the Gold Coast or if you cant find it Brisbane is just up the road.
Actually by 6pm its dark and 6am is pretty dark. I would think the cival times above might fit mine

Extra light should not freak the girls out? Since i have already at 14hr darkness, and then go to 11 hour darnkess I would like to try your 13, your girls seem to love it.

T5 lights , nice and cheap i can 2 lots for 130, includes 6400k and 2400K, or maybe the 6400K will do, as its just there to suppliment

Weather is turning crap - cloudy showers etc next few days




in cage though will need the 3rd T5 for ChemOG

Basically I just need to add 3 hours - so that is till 8pm?

There looking okay... There drinking up the water?
You may want to stick them pot n all into a bigger pot to help you manage the watering. As they're in flower and they're going to be drinking all the time. Try not to under or over water them while in flower. ..
They look good in the tent. They're going to get big gro bro.

So putting them to 13 light hour's would be fine. But because your having a hard time keeping up with watering and nutes. Going to 12/12 I think would be good.

I'm up most of the night tonight. Slow smoking a 12 pound pork loin on the grill. 18 hour's Slooow

I can rise the cage max 30cm(1ft) if needed. That would be 7pm with 12/12 and its tried and old bloom switch time

Bang on , Bundal is a inner city Suburb of the Gold Coast

I gave them today to dry out as i think there is a wet patch in the soil, the mix needs a wetting agent as Waira mentioned, i think a dunk in a bin with nutes might be a good idea to cover alll the dry spots.

I will measure them also , before water with scales.

As for Nutes i got P and K, will have to chase some more, micro nutes, so i can give them the best, Canna Flores was getting expensive ( runs out in each grow lol)

SM ( waves thank you also) , she was for 12/12 and you like 13/11 so its close. I was telling my brothers about how your plants are looking,

I dont think that will make the girls bloom the extra 2 or 3 hours.

Over night the bud sites appeared all over them, so they are getting ready to start i think YAY It will be tasty for sure the pork Lion

also going to get some cheap computer fans 120mm for in and out, rig up wiring for them in tubes, The big fan fell, it s a worry, might get smaller ones to fit around the tent


As for the pots Waira mentioned fabric pots to put them in, i may find something cheaper, as they really do dry out well, even in winter, summer crop will be a few waterings a day lol

O yeah they've started flowering. They're about 14 day's into flower now. So about 5 to 6 weeks to harvest. Now it time to be on your game. Try not to under water so they don't wilt and over water to much. If you dont have a pot or pan... Maybe a plastic bag to stick them in to help hold the water. And maybe a towel rapped around them. May help too....to keep the root zone cool and help hold water. On the dry day's.

Hey GTG, lol the video of mine, it like from a horror movie how I sound (trying to disguise the whipser) .. I got hyped over the new grow plan. Wow that soon, why did i ever bother with autos, i think more photos in the future, i got a nice line up, i even got Dr Grinspoon (heard not an easy plant to grow and super long flowering period). Wilted looking and i was concerned it was from over watering, not sure the top is cracker try and cant really get a finger in as its a matt of roots. I will look into what to give the girls as a pot, and the tent has room for growth, just have to raise the base; My weak point is watering and nutes, so i have to try to do my best

Just caught up on your thread Smokey, great job so far mate....some fantastic advice from everyone as well bud, makes me smile cause most of the peeps are who taught me most of what I know about growing herb........the videos are gold mate .....your smoking the right weed ....the cart ride was hilarious mate ......as GtG said they're really gonna drink in flower mate....keep em well hydrated ....I'd say they're gonna be hogs for food in them pots to mate so keep the food a coming as well .....I reacon your gonna have one hell of a trim party come harvest time bud........@Growtogrow that pork loin sounds like it's going to be amazing mate,

I could help myself was excited about the light dep, and felt like to clown around with the carts. I will be addressing their need the best i can. Spent some time researching and picking up a set of T5s to give 2700/6500 light also in the tent, they are pretty cheap on ebay, and seem reliable, no issues yet.. I will have some lovely food for them, found a place Plant Doctor, seems to have warehouse in a few suburbs away, so got humic and fulvic acid, already got the P and K from bunnings, and Gogo is not a bad tonic, belive bit of humic in it and low N value of 1., hope the girls have their appetite. Wont be like the autos, trim is pretty fast, i can see this will be timely but worth it with lots of nice bud

I had stoked up the cole's on the grill... as I'm using real wood lump coal a very good mix of different kinds of wood Plus lump coal of Hickory as well.... anyways I fell out ( sleep ) I took it off the grill 10 minutes ago and took some of the bark off the meat and put to a big pot of homemade per baked beans and added some home made real honey and dark brown sugar green pepper and onion some more bacon to the pot. Now let that simmer for a while.... Mmmm mmm.... Its gon-na be Mmmm mmm goood.....
