GH flora, lucas formula, only Micro and Bloom. 0.8 EC Nutes + 0.4 EC CalMag
PH 5.8, total EC 1.2

this is TAP root = first root issue. its said that this is why autos hate hydro. but theres a way around it. the tap root is the first root that comes out from a seed and its length defines the plants size and height. in a root riot cube the cube must be put in the hydro before seed hatches. the water level must be exactly 1mm over the netcup bottom so that the water touches the bottom of the riot cube and waters the cube while letting the higher parts of the cube breathe. this way the tap root will grow long. in coco the tap root grows to the bottom then it is air pruned. afyer this the other roots start growing. in a riot cube that is not in hydro the tap root is minimal therefore the plant is stunted. lol i've lost about 30 expensive seeds before figuring this out so i know this is gonna save you time and money and nerves. keep growing.
theres nothing that can be done for these seeds. they will always be stunted. maybe try to make seeds from them.
also another way is to tie a piece of string to the netcut the bottom of the string to the water and let the root use the string to find the water while being watered by the string bringing water by capillary action. a small plastic rope etc anything the transfers water up. also the ppm can be under 20 ppm for seedlings. its good to know nothing went wrong. this is how a plant reacts when its tap root is pruned right out of the cube. the root riot box and owner doesnt talk about tap root pruning and stunted growth does it? how corporate of it lol selling a product but not telling the downsides.
also after roots have grown lower water level to let roots breathe. i use 2 small 10 liter 2 1/2 gallon self made 9 netcups buckets as seed and root starter hydros then transfer to main hydros. this is so i can control the exact height of water which is that it just touches the netcup bottom and thru capillary action waters the bottom of the cube. i put the seeds right in the hydro on day 1 of not hatched seed. the cube wont over water. once all the roots grow longer i drop water level. i've had great success using this method which i had to learn after having exactly the same problem.
i dont use hydrorocks and use small netcups from aliexpress and i cut the riot cubes to fit the netcup with scissors. the riot cube sits at the bottom of the netcup and the taproot goes straight into the water from the cube. if u cant get it to work then try coco.
