SANlight Slater tests SANlight Q6W

whats the thinking in week 6 if i may ask i tend to do it once in week 4 or as the stretch is stopping

air flow and light penetration, it can get a little crowded in my tents. I tend to pack it a little tight on the scrogs... i find it helps expose a lot of the lowers by the net and instead of them being larfy they have more chance of ripening up. Since doing it I have notice a yield increase... I say around end of week 6, depends on the strain. Around the time they stop building the buds up and start to ripen and put on that water weight... I don't take loads, only the one's covering bud sites and any that are clogging in between the cola's. Just enough to open them out... if I can reach the other side fo the tent that is.

its the one thing I don't like running out off... on my next order I think I will get the Rev and Watts and see how that works. I'm already using their Transport with my made up folia sprays, kelp and Epsom salts.

Sanlight Q6W test

End of Week 2

Just got to say it... [HASHTAG]#sanlight[/HASHTAG] Q6W, bloody loving you... check out my leaf chubbys you give... that's some of the best full on leaf erection action I've had this year... thank you Sanlight

leaf chubby's all round bar the center plant up back (you can just about see her far right), she's just a super thirsty girl and every time I open the tent at the start of their day her leaves are slightly pointing down

It's getting a little crowded and it's end of week 2 so it's time for the leaf strip and the odd bit of super cropping

20181214_185939.jpg

I know it looks bad but give it 48hrs and it will be like nothing happen... had to super crop a few branches, they had gotten to about 8"- 6" from the lights in places.

3 Days Later

And it's like Armageddon never happen in the tent... I will be honest with you the tent looked like this after 24 hrs (would have taken pics but I've been quite ill recently and I just plain forgot to do the 24hrs after pics)... the recovery time under these lights is super impressive. I would expect to see a full recover by 48 to 60 hrs but not after 24hrs and too be preying that hard to the LED gods... this is a first for me... that one up back (center) is still one thirsty girl, just can't keep that one happy

The recover time from the super cropping is super fast as well, 24 hrs and they are standing up erect. Again I would normally expect this after 48hrs to 72hrs under my cobs... it could be genetics but i did not notice this behavior the last time I grew this strain, it took a good 48 hrs to see any improvement.

Tank you @St. Tom they really are loving the light... man that recover time took me by surprise, glad to know your are getting similar results. The bounce back after the leaf strip was amazing, they have not done that yet in my grow room, It always took 3 days.
