Thank you @arty zan , many a post of yours I've read has helped towards my grows, so I tip my hat back to you sir with a massive thank you ...

I'm so impressed with those SANlights, they are so under rated as a company when the LED talk happens. They definitely deserve a place at the top. My next build out will be a mix of SANlight and QB's by HLG... I think that's the only thing these light are missing is the samsung LM301b diodes, I think by bring those in with a balance of what they have already and I think they will then have THE light to compete with. If you look at Chilltec and SANlight they seem to be heading down a similar path but Chilltec wins on paper at the moment. I think due to the inclusion of the samsung chips... man do I love LED's! you can just play around and make your own spectrum up, fascinating side of growing I never knew I would get hooked on.

You know what these SANlight have been the push to get my head round my camera on my phone and getting it to work for me. The colour cast they give on auto WB is a yucky golden yellow. I had been lazy for my other spaces being white light LED's and had the camera on auto when I first got it... loving what I can achieve with my S8 now I've got my head round it... By the way think I have found the only place in the world that still has stock of the S8 Moment case left, it's in Malaysia ( https://shashinki.com/shop/moment-photo-case-galaxy-black-canvas )... seems a legit company, I may just have to take the chance and get one.

The resin on this cut is the main reason she has been kept (plus she tick's all the other boxes, killa yielder... think she is about to take the record in that tent)... when pressed 2g of fresh water hash gives an average of 1.6g of rosin. I'm also seeing separation with THC crystals when we get the temps just right. More experimentation needs doing but I think we could make diamonds out of her rosin.

Hey brother wow that's awesome my post have helped your grows, you do seem to have a natural green thumb but glad I have helped with that!

I love my SanLights but I also love my 4 x CBX3590 COB 300W 3500K Dimmable Grow Light Which I built, it was a test light and was from Northern Grow Lights (NGL) which now trades as HLG, Amit is a top bloke and really has it going on with his QB's.
I'm currently using the COB set up in veg and will move to SanLight in flower.

White balance, you won't believe how well time you mentioning that is! I just spent an hour figuring out how to adjust the white balance on my camera - Nikon Coolpix S2800 (compact camera) in the end I did it but is a not easy to follow way of doing it.
I always adjust my cameras white balance with each light I use but then I forget how I did the next time I come to grow.Doh!

The rosin sounds great, keep us updated on any of the tests/experiments you do!!!

you know so much more than me when it comes to technology and diodes ect but just going by my old meizi and kingbo led lights and at an extra 200 wats they put out these beat them hands down no contest and my buds even lots of lower ones are like rocks we have been very fortunate to be chosen to test these and its been an honour to test side by side with you ive been picking up tips the whole grow off you your one of the top growers on here hands down a great bloke who goes out of his way to help people

Yes I think it has been an honer to test these lights, I would so recommend them any day. They are on par if not pip the QB's v1 due to there penetration... I too have noticed a much more denser bud over the canopy, especially with the lowers.

We shall be straight into flower with day 01 tonight when I swap the lights over, I flipped them yesterday (I like to count form the first full 12hrs of darkness)... probably gonna freak them out a little for a couple days getting used to the spectrum change... not a very exciting veg to talk about really, not much vigor to shout about and they are drinking very little but still they have put some roots down and have super chunky stems... bit of a meh! veg... I will get the update together for tomorrow.

Sorry for the late reply! Dry kelp from KIS organics. Let the powder soak 24 hours to hydrate, then use it. It goes a long way. Got my first bout of N tox when I got heavy handed.

It was a case of mining the internet and found it on page 8 or there about's... at first I thought it was a fake site but checked the photography forums and it is legit... I spanked my pocket money the other day so I got to wait a week or 2 before I can grab one.

I've got 2 cob set up's both with Citizen CLU48 1212's (3000k,3500k,4000k), one of them is a hybrid with 3xQB's (v1) and love them both. Planning on re-building them when I move space's and adding in Chilltec pucs or the new HLG QB96... got a lot of respect for HLG, been following them form when Growmau5 got turned on to them, a true and honest company in a sea of nasty truth bending vipers... have to laugh, Steve doesn't get British sarcasm one bit when he's in charge of customer services. I must have caught him on a bad week, they messed a order of mine up (my first one with them)... Fair play to them it got sorted and payed for all the shipping across the pond even if it took 3 months to get to me... my dry British sarcasm got lost on Steve with our email's back forth, think I may have up set him once or twice... I will still order from them and recommend them any day but don't try sarcasm on Steve he be far to serious all the time.

I think that why I've gone over to my phone now for most of photography, the WB is so much easier to control, find and adjust compared to let say Pentax SLR... Phone cameras are so much more intuitive, I think that's because they are not design by Photographer's of Photographers who just want as much button and kit as they can use.

The plan is to have a squishing session in 3 weeks with this harvest once I make the water hash from the trim. I shall make it a journal entry... @HighnDry will be interested in that... HighnDry I will show you how easy it is to make water hash

Once you have your case , you will need lenses, sometimes it seems endless money after money but once acquired we will both have some really nice camera kit for our phones.
I plan to buy second hand off of ebay as it cuts the cost of the lenses in half.
I like everything you said about about COB's QB's, I was panning to do something with some QB's but I already have far more LED's than I can use, so I'll put the money into other projects.
HLG nee NGL, is a fantastic company and Amit is on it, when it come to designing new lights.
QB's were an industry game changer, with many other LED companies making QB style lights now.
Lmao @ how there is a loss in translation, when it comes to humour across the pond, we Brits do certainly confuse our American cousins with our dry wit and sarcasm.
Try telling some people that "irony" isn't the same type of thing as "coppery" and that it has nothing to do with metal at all! Sometimes you will just get a look like a dog would give you if you told it a joke, head tilted to one side with that sorta quizzical look!

I'm glad camera phones are intuitive as I know next to nothing about photography but I am willing to learn in order to get better pics and video..
I still have a problem getting photos off my phone, maybe it is due to security software on my pc but I have downloaded programs and app and still I get nowhere, I have also watched youtube video and still I get nowhere.
I don't really want to send tons of pics via email. I will just send them to the SD in my phone and buy a SD reader, I think it is the easiest solution!

We come to the close of round 2 at day 60 of flower, could have taken them a few day's earlier but it was the weekend and I wanted to have fun with the family...

Before the chop I removed the 2 SANlight's, we can now final get to see the tent under a normal house hold 3000k cfl bulb

This one cola foxtailed like crazy, none of the other went as mad as this one... it was positioned dead center between the lights

Game... can you spot the nanna ? ... This is the one issue I've got with my " seedstocker keeper's they both throw the odd nanna's here and there at around week 7 to 8

Super greasy with a wide range of fruity smells... a fruit cocktail of turps

So what do we have in store for round 3... we have moved one of the lights into a 2 x 4 space to see just what one of these lights can achieve. And lets be honest most of us growing at home could probably only afford just the one of these puppy's... it would be money well spent

What are we growing this time round... Zkitlles (photo fems) by Black Skull seeds... let's see what this hype is all about with this strain. I didn't spend my life saving on these beans, Black Skull do have the best price's in town, very affordable... I've seen Zkittles cross's go for £200+... that shit better be rocking horse shit for that kinda money

Not much to shout about with them in veg, not a huge amount of vigor to them but they have put some good roots down... all 4 have super chunky stems and branches, they seem to be growing outwards rather than up wards, bit like my waste line...
It has been a good start so far on the health of them, no lock out after transplanting, no heavy Mag diff's, relatively smooth sailing for the first time in a few grows... I have change coco to the Ecothrive bags with Charge already mixed in, so far so good

I would love to meet the guys at HLG one day especially Steve shake his hand and say "I was only joking mate"... you never know if we final get a decent trade show they may make the effort

I'm using bubble bags for my hash, just the 220 and the 25 micron sizes. I used to separate all the Micron sizes but didn't see the point for a few grams of each. So I now mix it all for a full spectrum hash giving me a about an Oz off each bag of trim... I'm in the process of aging the hash stretching the time out each month for each block... I've just put my first temple ball down for a 2 yr lock down, going to be make some more soon ( I will document that one) the next will be on a 3yr lock down and so on until I get a to a Ten yr one. Aiming that one for my 55th birthday... I've been intensely listening to Frenchie Cannoli and all his wisdom, desperate to go one of his work shops and meet the man.

Here's what I do to get my pics of my S8... I plug it into the laptop making sure the phone is not asleep and unlocked... accept the the allow device to access phone... on laptop click Galaxy S8 phone icon....click phone... navigate to the DCIM folder... click the camera folder and you should find all your pics ready to drag and drop
