Indoor Slater grows Healing Path

good point, that could be the case for some... with these I think it could be the genetics, the MoB seems to want to be lanky with the AoF cross bushing perfectly... if the cups are that little to small it go's in my favor by keeping them under control, I need to keep them as short as possible but with a good bushy canopy.
just a extra 200-300ml of growing space like the square pots you have i think will work wonders iv been searching for a good source of .5l waxy cups somewhere local not a easy task think il have to go online
you tried your hand at fimming yet when i gave it a go it seem to slow the tops down more than usual and bush out the bottom very well had a nice even canopy of tops and that was with little eg time if you had more time im sure it would be perfect give it ago on a plant see what happens

thank you @trailanimal ... it the most organised thing in my life the G'room, you would never believe the grower upstairs is the same man who has the disorganised art studio down stairs
makes sense, your art space is where you let it hang out, your grow space is where you wire it tight

Getting ready for the flower space

Its that time of the grow, we are just over a week from going into the flower tent so it's time for their new shoes and a bit of a topping and tidy up.

MoB... All 4 all looking healthy and fine, showing no issues but ready to be transplanted... all are taking a similar shape and growing at the same rate. They look like they will turn into nice and bushy plants

The 5 AoF x Sensi Star x CBD haze auto are all super healthy with the on the end really going for it... I have my eye on you, you could be the keeper.

After a good look over we have now got full confirmation on which plant wanted to auto... 3 out of the 5 have autoed in the end, a bit higher than the ratio should have been. But you can't hold that against them, next pack popped could be all photos... its pot luck when popping those seed.
I've binned 2 and kept the first in the cue to flower out in the veg tent. She had the better shape... Shame I don't have the room, would have loved to flower out all 3 to see what we get.

Potting on...

This is one of my most favorite jobs in the grow room, potting on. Its a time to get up close and personal with your plants.

This is also the time I like to start the build up my microbe heard in my coco... for this grow I have decided to use new microbe products to see how they perform... If they do well I should be saving money over the leading brands we all know. I have confidence seen as they are all the same product wrapped up in different packaging.

Here is the line I will be using for this grow... the Mycorr Max / Hydro are the same as Biosys by Eco Thrive... the Tricorr is the same as Urb but in powered form... the Bactorr is Great White with out Tricorr added... and all of this is near on 50% cheaper than the leading brands... well that Tricorr is a 7th of the price of Urb ... just shows how much they take advantage of us canna growers. I got sucked into the Urb hype (near on £70 a ltr) on YT / IG. I'm not saying it doesn't work, it works real well but man they are just taking advantage of us stoners and youtube hype over the microbe revolution... This stuff is cheap and should not cost you an arm or a leg... please check out The Nutrient Company, they are from Holland and a have depot in the UK

Why you may ask am I using Microbes, well the main reason is to save on nutes. Since introducing them in to my system I have cut my nute intake by a good half to 2 / 3rds with some strains and this is with hungry photo's. I can imagine if I was doing all autos it may even be less... and the other reason, probably the biggest reason is that my plants are the happiest and healthiest I have ever seen them... Try it, do a once a week feed with Mycroor / Biosys / Great White / Urb... which ever product takes your fancy and then sit back and see the lushness and vigor it brings to the grow.

I mixed up a fresh batch of coco (75ltr)... To re hydrate the block I mixed up 20ltr of RO water with Epsom Salts at about 3 g per ltr, cal/mag at half dose and Mycorr (hydro) at full dose... I then amended it with Charge (earth worm castings) and the Tricorr... I'm using 8ltr cloth pots for this grow

20181203_150715.jpg

Dusted my hole with Mycorr (max)... sounds a bit rude that

20181203_150737.jpg

Popped her in and topped the pot up, gently packing it down... I like to leave room of about 1/2" from the top, as we put them into the flower tent I like to use clay balls to cover the top of the coco to keep things nice and tidy and to slow the drying out due to a fan blowing around at the base of
the tent.

20181203_150932.jpg

All sorted and placed in their new staging area before they go into the flower space... I didn't water them straight away I waited 24hrs, the coco was wet enough plus they had brought plenty of feed with them from the flood and drain table.

24hrs later I gave them a feed of about half strength Remo and another full dose of Mycorr... 1/2 ltr each, I'm not looking to drench the coco. Enough to keep them happy for few days and to get them to shoot those roots out looking for more water.

Remo line up
Grow - 0.5 ml... I will increase this to 1ml on the next feed
Micro - 0.5 ml... same again with the micro, I keep it at the same ratio as the grow
Kelp - 1.5 ml... I like to up the kelp after transplanting to help with recovery
Cal/mag - 1.5ml... I will reduce this down to 1ml by the second week of flower. I have found that most strains only need a 1ml per ltr

That's it for this week, next up date will be getting the flower space ready for the grow. Take care people...

Grow safe, keep it green and I will...

Microbes help your coco be more soil like. In my garden, compost is always supplying the soil with microbes which are busy working on organics and non-organics making nutrients available to plants. In your grow with liquid nutes the microbes must be making the food more available somehow.....less nutes
I like how you are working on the plant shape you want.
