Indoor Slater grows Healing Path

UP DATE

Few days before we go into the flower tent...

They are now starting to fill the pots out with roots, I give them a couple of days and they will go into full beast mode... just in time for the flower tent

Up front and far right I have thrown in another plant of a rare nature (wanted to grow it out again, think I ballsed it up the first time. Really want to know It was my fault before jumping on the genetics and getting rid of it)... Blasphemy (F2) by level 42 (popper underground British genetics, exciting)... how it got its name... when asked how the smoke was, every one said "Jesus f***ing H Christ what the shit is that"... well deserved name then.

Just a little calcium issue and 3 are looking like they need a tiny bit more Nitrogen...

So I upped the feed a little... as they go onto a 24 hrs feed, chances are I will be able to reduce this to 1ml / 1.2 ml

Grow - 1.5ml
Micro - 1.5ml
Cal/Mag - 1.5ml
Kelp - 1.5ml
NC - 1 ml

I use silicon to adjust my PH to about 6.1 / 6.3... When mixing a full rez up I like to start my PH high and let it drop over the few days the res lasts... I find that Remo can drop the PH over a few days when the water temps are low so to get over this I mix up to about 6.1 / 6.3, by the last day it is often dropped down to 5.6.

I'm not watering to run off at this stage, no point they will only get 2 to 3 feeds at the most... I try and give them just what they need so we shouldn't get any salt build up.

They are still getting a folia feed every other day of kelp and for the first week I like to give them 2 or 3 Epsom Salt folia sprays as well... I find this helps them loads when they go under the cobs for the first time. I will do the same for the first week in the flower tent as the power of the light / photons increase.

The Veg Tent mini auto grow

Well this journal has now turned into 2 grows to document... I decided to keep the best looking of the AoF / Sensi Star / CBD haze cross that auto-ed. To stop it from stretching loads and taking up to much room in the veg tent I transplanted as I started to see it stretch (3ltr pot, coco). This should stunt it and stop it from getting to big (he say's), keeping it manageable (he say's)... I've grown a few autos this way, fantastic if you have a small space to grow in. You can get a good 2 oz from growing autos this way... strain dependent of course.

Moving into the Flower tent

Got everything all cleaned and ready for the next run

I have decided to put all 4 of the MoB up the back, they could be the ones in the tent to get a little tall and I don't want to be having to reach over them.

as I placed them into the tent and before I put the clay pebbles on top I topped dressed the coco with 2tsp of Tricorr and then did a drench with Mycorr / Remo veg line up at 1/3 strength

I like to cover the top of my pots with clay pebbles, it helps with evaporation. In full flower I will have a fan or two blowing around the base of the canopy. The clay pebbles help to stop the top of the pots drying out. It also is stops from blowing small bit of coco everywhere, plus it looks nice and tidy,

I also like to raise my pots up an inch to help with air flow around the bottom of the cloth pots... these are cooking pot stands

once all plants are clay pebbled and on their stands I plug the drip feed system in... I normally wait 48hrs after the drench before I switch to the automated feeding

20181214_151816.jpg

Up back the 4 MoB... Up front, left to right, 2 x AoF / Sensi Star / CBD Haze (auto) and the one Blasphemy (level 42 gentics) to fill a gap...

No major problems so far, just a little Cal/Mag dif as we went into the tent, mainly with the MoB. They seem to up take a little more than the AoF/Sensi star cross... I feel this is mainly an issue with my coco, I've been getting this a quite often as I go into the flower tent since swapping to coco blocks. Not to worried, I will get them back on track.

3 days later

After a regular folia spraying of Epsom Salts (every day, twice on the first) and upping the Cal/mag in their feed I feel I have got them on the turn around from the Cal/Mag dif...
I also decided to put the scrog net in. Crossing fingers they fill it out by the weekend. Would really like to put them into flower by Christmas day.

Thoughts about the grow so far -

MoB (Mother of Berry's)... so far has been a dream to grow, all 4 have taken a great shape after topping. All have kept to about the same size with plenty of vigor to the growth. And all look like they could be very similar phenotypes

AoF / Sensi Star / CBD Haze (auto)... apart form losing 3 to auto flowering I've had no no real issues. The two I have left are starting to look quit different from each other in size, growth and what they want to eat. The one up front far left is turning into a very bushy plant but not really got the hight yet, the node spacing is quite tight. Her neighbor to the right has a wider node spacing and bigger spread to the canopy. I think we shall see quite a difference in flower between the two phenotypes.

I may be a little late with next weeks update seen as its Christmas, I might just be a little busy with the family... It will just have to be a really big one when I get to it at the end of the week... cloning, getting ready to go into flower plus the first full week of flower

Grow safe people, keep it green and I will...

I love your grow space so much and maybe in 12-18 months i'll be able to grow this style with much more space, TNC trichoderma and mycorizza will do their job at their best, growing big plants.

Thanks Mongol, so looking forward to moving house next year and stepping the space up. I'm not looking to go real big just that bit more side room on each side and get the most out of my lights... so far TNC are proving there worth, the only issue I have is their hydro version of Mycorizza is a little silty for my drip system so I have to do a top drench with it. Great stuff though.
