yeah mate i grew up in a hippie community abroad so i know all about the psy trance scene. it’s all they used to listen to in portugal back in the day but i have to say even on the continent it’s popularity is waning too. but there will always be psy communities out there lol
sucks because i struggle in the super heavy raves of today filled to the brim with jumping jump-up fans, and they cram people in these days and don’t give enough room so i’ve taken a break from raving over here.
i still work the door, the camera and or manage the line-up at my mates events if i can’t get out of it lol. but i am almost a millennial too and it gets difficult hanging out in these places when you’re the only one not off their trolley and you’re on such a different wavelength to everyone else

We don't get those huge psy party's of 5000+ any more, well not in our part of the country. Might get the odd gig in London with those size crowds but it slowing down fast.

When I DJ out (payed club gigs) I stay sober (not from canna though) until I come off the decks or just don't do anything depending on whats happening the next day with the family. I am so engrossed in the music side of things that I don't need to be off my head to go to the special place psy trance offers, I'm so well practiced in that music that It can do it on its own for me.

Yeah fair man, i mean i used to do the same as that but growing up in such a drug heavy scene didn’t really do me any good when i have such an impulse personality so i had to give it up last year, i guess it always feels a little different when you’re deliberately abstinent and you go to these parties because you have to be careful not to get carried away with the temptation. don’t get me wrong i’d love to drop some acid and have a few beers but my body won’t allow it.
it’s cool though, because when you’re just stoned at that sort of thing and you hang out with the older MCs and DJs out back the whole night takes on a new vibe i never got to experience before. but i don’t really go to nights over here where i don’t get a free VIP wristband for that reason lol

ha ha with you on that... haven't paid for a party or festival... ever... always blagging the VIP wrist band when I can

Short story.... only festival ticket I've ever owned was to my first, Glastonbury 1994... My cuz bought me the ticket, him and his mates smoked all my hash for the weekend and didn't chip in (I was little to young to stand up to them as they where much older than me)... So I never paid him for it... started me on my path of getting into as many gigs / festys for free as I can

yes it all i can fit into that space. The tent is insulated as well with foil foam board... keeps the tent (120x60x100) at around 20c on the coldest of night. Its not ideal but its doing the job.

When you don't have much room you got to be clever with your space if want to keep mothers.

sponge bob is king with Scooby Doo a close second... I love animation, never understood why I never went into as a career, did loads at school in art and I just love watching cartoons...

thanks @Vapo69 ... courage was cool, loved Cow and Chicken and Ed, Edd, Eddy... Ed Edd and Eddy reminded me of the comics annuals I got at Christmas when I was a kid, the Beano and the Dandy (showing me age there).
