Lighting Single Autocob Grow (2x2x4)

Hi friends! Here are a bunch of pics I took of the Black D.O.G this morning. Can't stop being amazed of what can be done with this little Autocob.

The plant stretched way more than I was hoping for, but it was due to a light leak during the first couple weeks of 12/12 and that was entirely my fault for not paying attention. The two tallest tops even ended up growing over the light... not planned at all.

She got Ca def after a week or so of using the Autopot system, but symptoms only showed and remained contained on the top leaves that are close to the light... closer than 10 inches, so maybe it's not realy the system's fault. Top of coco is very dry recently, not sure it's having a negative effect... what are your thoughts on covering the surface to help reduce this?

BTW... It's day 56 of 12/12. Feed is between 500-600 ppms. Temps have been lower than usual for the past few weeks... 16-22C / 60-72F.

Not a single amber trichome yet. I think I'll give her 2 weeks tops.

Here comes another update for the Black D.O.G. ...

Yesterday was day 75 of 12/12, and 157 since her seed was put to germinate.

This passing weekend she underwent her second harvest (first one was last weekend). I cut down the 5 main colas and a bunch of her mid section. I decided to leave the lower section for harvesting next weekend. The buds that were 12 inches or more from the light grew much better than those too close to the light.

The buds from the 3 tops harvested last weekend (2 tops that had grown past the light, and 1 top that was 1-2 inches from the light) went into curing jars weighing 3.6 grams. I tried a few on the vaporizer… very nice, long lasting effects and soft sweet flavor that reminds of raspberries and spices.

Absolutely amazing! Followed this one for awhile and it’s great to see it finish so strong.

So, quick update.

After my very satisfying last run with the Black D.O.G., I took the single AutoCOB out of the 2x2 tent and now have it in an unused shower with the same area as the tent. It will be used to grow spinach, berries and other food. It has done an amazing job with cannabis, now I want to see how it grow other plants... I'm expecting great results too.

Still trying to get my hands on some berries and waiting for more spinach seeds to sprout, so in the meantime the COB is being used as my mom/clones' light too. Plants are loving it! I think I'll get my hands on a 6500K AutoCOB for my mons/clones as soons as I have the money.
