Lighting Simulating .... Moonlight !! Anyone ever tried it ? (75w bulbs!)

Hi All..
From my experience Autoflowers respond well to Moon cycles, even indoors. Those invisible forces at work we call gravity.
Look into planting by moon cycles and see how much better they'll grow. It's a very old farming tradition.
With photos and autos plant from day after new moon to full (Waxing).. This is the best time for above grown leaf/stem growth. From the full moon back to the new moon (Waning) plants focus energy on root development, and as we all know with auto's roots are very important. The pull of the moon will effect a plant inside or out. Moon light has nothing to do with growth of any kind other than root growth.

I'm sure the moonlight has a beneficial effect on the biology of plants, but if your growing without sunlight anyway whats the point?
I'm defo interested in using the high uvb reppie lamps to supplement the main grow light, an idea would be to put the uvb light on a seperate timer that turns on in midday to simulate afternoon light intensity, Im not sure how long would be optimum though.

Also about light at night interrupting flowering - it depends on the strain, outdoor bred plants for the most part are fine flowering with moonlight, even though a bright full moon may delay flowering slightly, this is one reason that indoor bred strains start flowering later - they expect complete darkness. Also they are used to a sudden switch to 12/12, whereas o.d plants respond more readily to the gradual decrease in light hours.

Moon light has nothing to do with growth of any kind other than root growth.

Roots lack photosynthetic pigments and are generally below ground on healthy plants... this leads me to believe moon light doesn't affect roots one way or the other. The leaves might catch a few micromoles of photosynthetically active radiation from reflected sunlight off the lunar surface and the plant as a whole might be affected by the gravitational pull of our dear satellite, but that's the extent of the interaction betwixt the two, in my very humble opinion.
