Sick Mephisto's heading into flower. Please help!

For future reference, this turned out to be a slight nute burn due to light intensity and its effect on the increased uptake of nutrients. Further reading has shown that the Creme De La Chem can be particularly sensitive to high powered lighting.

Having flushed the coco and changed the nutrient dosages slightly, the girls are back on track!

Thanks for everyones input, I will post some finished pics in a few weeks after a hopeful fade.

All I will say is do not grow this strain if you need to maintain any level of discretion, these girls are 8 weeks old and maybe touching mid flower but they absolutely stink, like my house smells of it even through a huge Rhino filter stink. I can't begin to imagine the smell at harvest.

Sounds like some Pink Kush I grew outdoors. The wife complained about the stink while mowing the lawn fifty feet away. Indoors would have been interesting.

Definitely get a EC/PPM meter, it is the most powerful tool any grower can have and takes out so much of the guess work in situations like this.

I agree with previous comments that you have a deficiency problem, I think you need a bit more P and K. They look healthy for the most part and Mephistos get hungry once they really get going, and those are some dense and bushy plants you got there. It looks like they are not even done with their stretch.

good luck!

I didn’t read to the end before posting, glad you got it figured out, but I think this does highlight the value of an EC meter. Early stage lockout due to nutrient burn can look very similar to deficiency from under feeding. Using an EC meter to check your runoff completely removes the guesswork.

I have grown the Mephisto Creme de la Chem, and you can almost hear the stink coming off of that plant!

happy growing!
