Should I start over?

My buds are not as dense as I would like. But I didn't train them properly or defoliate enough.:face:
I was too scared I was going to stress them. Now I know enough to do better next round. I just need to get some more nutes.
They all smoke great though. I mean the buds are kinda dense they just are not rock hard. And I was under the impression that if you use silica the whole time you get rock hard nugs .

Silica is for hard stems. Hard nugs is really genetics and light

Yeah I think they needed more light but I couldn't make the light as intense as I wanted because I had that 6 foot monster and I had to find a happy medium.

Stapler.....put a stem with buds into the bag with the end sticking out, staple it closed around the stem, staple the stem to the bag...repeat till bag is full and closed, hang bag up and move to the next bag.
any photos of this process?

I ran out of mason jars and all I have around the house is turkey bags. Does that really work? I have a good amount.

I've heard plastic bags like turkey bags, ziplock, or vaccum sealing doesn't work well for curing, something along the lines of terp loss and preservation. They could work in a pinch for a bit but I'd grab some more jars or even better if you can get some grove bags. I've used those from the start and they make the whole process quick and simple.

Yes I am going to get some Grove bags. I thought I had plenty of mason jars. I wasn't expecting to grow a pound and a half on my first grow :shooty:

Make sure to order them direct from Grove Bags, prices are much better than Amazon. They also always have a lot more size options.
I did my first order on Amazon before I realized how much better direct ordering from them is.

Great product!

There might be a coupon code for AFN for grove bags. Used to be either afn or AFN. It costs way more to ship the bags then the bags actually cost, so buy plenty. They're reusable though up until the zipper part comes loose. I've been using the same bags for probably about 3 years now
