Well,
Mine is either going to be the sweetest, heavily stunted, mini bonsai plant...or dead in the next 48 hours.
- Nothing for a couple days, so I went digging and rooting around...saw a split bean with about .25" of tap root.
- re-seated in the soil with just the seed shell exposed to light, got it wet, waited a couple days...nothing.
- Got in there with an exacto blade and took the easier half of the shell off...colydons still trapped shut...
- dislodged entire kit and caboodle and took off the other half of the shell and replanted...
- Colydons began to open, noticed dirt and coconut coir in the "mouth" of the colydons.
- This evening, dislodged whole thing again, complete removal (picture) trying to clean it out...hadn't established any more roots.
- Re-planted again but this time, with extra Great White in the little hole.
- Re-watered.
I doubt very seriously that it will re-establish and launch. But if it does, it will have been properly, properly...stunted.
