what about the flowering stage?? In order to keep the process of nutrients available and going around the plants system is it not advisable to keep the temps high in flower aswell, obviously im throwing everything i ever knew out the window here about growing plants and stepping into a whole new arena due to these lights mainly its the light cycle that triggers plants into flower but why do we need to lower the temps also?
Agreed. Yes it's likely to be related to nutrient mobility and availability. I can only assume then that this applies during the bloom cycle aswell. Beyond the break-even point, the plants will respond undesirably if subjected to constraints outside of what is tolerable - but if the air flow exchange is highly efficient, the influence of gaseous exchange temperature control by the plants is unlikely to be effected, so stabilizing the optimum bloom temperature to keep photosynthetic rate elevated is one way to overcome this and achieve the same outcome. I prefer to allow the plants (lab-cultivated Tobacco - Nicotiana tabacum)to regulate the temps themselves by keeping the air flow exchange above canopy level..
Swings and roundabouts but it's good advice from them never-the-less
