I currently use dyna gro nutes in my soil grow, very user friendly and good results. I got mine from the link TBM has provided

Thanks for the info on Clonex, seymour. I've been using that, and thought it might be the equivalent over here, as I don't need to use much and it gives a super high EC reading compared to other nutrients using the same amount. I appreciate it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR..Speed & Safety for all your project in 2012..:wiz:

Aw Seymour...she is Beautiful...

Just read your DP link on your Maz grow...CRACKING..

Love Your cartoon.

DutchPassionTony..Happy New Year for you and the Budz @ Dutch Passion..

Speed & Safety for your 2012 season..

and it ALL your Auto's look like this...

I hope you have a Hell of a lot MORE Planned.

...Hi Wiz, yes you can be sure we are working intensively on new AutoFem's. It's too early to say much about them as they are all in an uncertain stage of development. One of them, if it comes off, will be simply amazing.

And if all continues to go well with the Think Different grow (and it looks like it surely will) I'm sure I will be asking Seymour if he would like some seeds before public release to do a grow diary.

yeah cheers tony, my aim was to run the auto mazar under a scrog screen at some point and try and go for maximum yield purely because she gets to the size thats easy for training to the screen, those frames that i posted pics of are not screens for scrogging they are screens for lst , with the dwc buckets i have nothing to tie the plants to but with those frames i can let the seedlings grow through the mesh and then start tieing them down and open them up, space is my biggest issue and if i can keep my plants well trained and uniform then the results will be even better but these ideas are for a whole other grows

i definatly wanna run this strain again as she is pretty straight forward to grow, having worked out what they like and what they dont like makes it easier to push them to the maximum capabilities

Hi Seymour, if you run AutoMazar under SCROG/LED let me know, we can run a guess the weight competition and sponsor it with prizes of seeds. Any USA prize winners would have to settle for our beautiful herb grinder as we don't/can't send seeds to the states. In theory you might be able to challenge your existing world record if you get the scrog right!

Are you Sure..you can Whisper in my ear....:D...no I'm only joking...

But..if they are as Beautiful as the First...I'm looking forward to Seeing them.

I send you karma for it..:wiz:

The World needs all the Beautiful Autos we can get..

Oh..I would Say so..:D..

Nothing Advertises a cross like a Well Grown Girl..
and you have a Classic with Seymour..

Autos and LED's are the two most maligned things in the canna growers world..

and Seymour Busts both Myths..  ..he is an Auto Hero.

the n-p-k ratios in that dyno-gro look quite interesiting especially for a 2 part mix, has anybody run them in a re-circulating system like dwc and if so how stable was the ph?

are those nutrients best used with soft or hard water and are they concentrated or ready mixed ?

sorry for the questions but if im gonna spend the cash on a new nutrient i wanna make sure that its suited for my enviroment, im a massive fan of canna aqua in dwc as it tends to have all the nutrient that the plants require however in veg they always look pale green and then fully green up in flower so it could be that the veg part of the package is slightly under the recommened dosage for feeding

im always looking to try new stuff so ill probably give them a go and report my findings on here and share the results with you guys, ive also been recommened a nutrient called "geneisis" which only used to be available in the usa but now is available in the uk, its a 3 part mix and the n-p-k values are so good it illiminates the need for any real additives

the beauty of hydro is the power to add things into the mix to get a reaction from the plants and i know its more indepth way of growing than in soil purely because you can tailor your feeds exactly how you want them on every res change unlike soil where there will always be additives mixed in

sterling of you to offer up a guess the yield comeptition for future grows mate lol that auto mazar is a tremendous strain and obviosuly my 1st attempt at a dutch passion product , needless to say she didnt dissapoint and im guessing this "think different" will be the same sterling work by you guys, im gonna be open and say that many people will rip your blueberry strain because it tends to hermie quite a bit but ive not yet had the pleasure myself yet of growing it out so it could well be grower related, although blueberry is probably my most favourite strain and i have the seeds to put that grow together at some point

cheers for the comments wiz but im sure you have watched my growing journey unfold from when i first joined over on icmag and its only because of the great info that people share and the willingness to wanna put those ideas into practice that makes us better growers and pinoeers at what ever it is we do, i tip my hat to all the breeders who put time and effort into bringing us the auto strains over the years and making them what they are today, without all their hard work the auto scene wouldnt be what it is and i know ill always have a soft spot in me for these plants

i think tony summed it up best by saying that its not always about how strong the smoke is its the overall effect and satisfaction that you get from the strain thats the most important part of smoking cannabis and the different effects each strain has to bring to the table means there will be a perfect strain for everybody, over in the uk the same as anywhere we do get some great strains and when people cant tell the difference between autos and regulars then you know that its going in the right direction

as always :toke:

I am also thinking of getting the dyna gro for my next nute line. I don't know how ph stable they are. But from what I read it is a complete nute. Considering it is not near as expensive as some/most others I'm going to give it a go. Your girls look exceptionial as always.

I think TBM runs dyna gro or did. I bet he knows about the ph stability.

Im growing in soil & found the dyna gro to be pretty stable,if your using the pro tekt you always add that first and then your base nutes & supplements.the pro tekt takes the ph up and the nutes back down,I used to mix a batch and used that all week without hardy any ph swing.it's concentrated,it suggests a half/full teaspoon per gal,I ran between half a ml and 1 ml per litre

yeah but the thing with nutrients is that some are best used in run to waste systems so they dont have very good ph buffers and those type of nutrients would not be suited for hydro, you get specific nutreints tailored for hydro like dwc or nft or even rdwc because the nutrient is always being mixed around and around the system it needs stronger buffers to control the swing of the ph

like i said it may well work well but without guranteed results from an experienced grower in a re-circ system like im using i wouldnt be tempted to switch

concentrated nutes are good, i know the genesis is concentrated and you have to add water to the bottle before using them,im kinda leaning more towards them and ghe line flora nova etc

appreciate the info guys

I am currently running Floranova nutes and got close to a dozen harvests. It's good stuff ESP. The bloom as far as ph goes. I fight a climbing ph with the veg and for the bloom it has to be adjusted at about the 12 hour mark and then good for around 3 or four days. I use a small Rez. Can't get a whole gallon in it so my results are a bit screwed to say the least. I have a 4 gallon Rez I made from a cooler. The ph was a lot more stable in the big Rez and is where the 3 or 4 days co
Es from. I am also currently fighting a mg def. I think my bottles have gotten a little old. There is clicking in the bottles when I shake them that wasn't there before. Also, there is something that looks like Epsom salt that always settles to the bottom of the rez. Added some Epsom to the Rez and the yellowing is gone. Nothing but ugly spots left. I think Floranova is great.
