Mephisto Genetics Seymourbud's Soapbox

They could be sisters, or least cousins.... They look very similar to one another. I will be curious to see what day you will be taking your girl to the chophouse, and whether she ambers up before that time. Are you getting any aroma off her? Maybe because the Menage a Tyrone x Double Grape reeks so much I am blinded to SC, but hardly anything to speak about. Mine is barely 12" tall, so equal in height as well.

Day 69. Back a day earlier to post some pictures. We are getting close to chop day for the Strawberry Nuggets. She still has a few white pistils, and based on the scope she has no amber. She appears to be drinking water at her normal rate, and there doesn't appear to be any leaves dying off. My schedule is free (and the house is empty for the chop) on Monday and Wednesday of next week, which would make chop day either day 73 or 75 respectively. She is very dense, not rock hard but very dense and solid. She is emitting a sour strawberry aroma when moved. I am salivating waiting for her to finish and get her cured. She looks to be outstanding meds. Picture time...

She is a beauty dude.

Thanks @Sleazyb, she indeed a gorgeous girl and she smells so good that I find myself sniffing her everytime I go by her.
The next 4-6 weeks are going to go by really slow waiting to chop and cure her.

Good morning, I am pleased to announce my newest arrival: Mephisto Genetics Strawberry Nuggets. Born 8/16/2018, after just under 3 days of trying to induce birth through a scratching of her shell, then soaking for 14 hours, and finally a welcome rest in 83dgf and moistened Root Riot plug (first time ever using them) enclosed in a humidity dome. She looks perfectly healthy, and the father couldn't be more happier.

Never used Root Riot plugs (or any plugs for that matter) before, and wasn't prepared for taproot to be already out the bottom of the plug (at least 2" showing). So had to do an emergency solo cup preparation of soil mix to plant the plug in for the next few days until she goes to her final pot (3gallon airpot). I didn't have enough soil to makeup the final 3gallon pot, so an intermittent upgrade (18oz.red solo cup) was needed. Now I have a few days to go and procure soil and ready the 3gallon airpot for the seedling. Crisis averted!

Looking at the picture, I think I can see the taproot now. Damn, I missed that this morning. White tap root and white dish = no bueno I guess.

Busy day in the garden today. First and most important, it is a Chop Day. Strawberry Nuggets came down today on day 77. There was between 5 and 10% amber. Would have liked it go another day or so, but circumstances around the household would not allow it, and the next opportunity might be next Monday. She seemed to be ambering up over last few days, so I was fearful to let her go 4 more days as it might be to far past her prime then.

Rough estimates have her at about 270 grams wet, so not to bad for a 3 gallon airpot with 2 autocobs dedicated to her. She has a very sour strawberry smell, and the kush comes on strong on the backend, but she didn't overwhelm the area with her aroma which is a good thing for me. I think she is going to be really good meds. Pictures before the chop and some drying nugget pictures coming when I have more time.

Also, I uppotted my new Strawberry Nuggets seeding to her final 3 gallon airpot today. She took the place of the SN that got the chop. She was uppotted before I saw roots in the cutout of the plastic red solo cup, so for once I may be ahead of the game.

Pictures of Menage a Tyrone x Double Grape and Sour Crack will come later as well.
