Mephisto Genetics Seymourbud's Soapbox

Great looking nugs man. I loved the white cracks too.

Thanks @water farm and @Sleazyb . This round is definitely not the fruit bombs I have harvested before. And I still have the two plants that hold the most potential left to go. The 3BOG is really chunky, and since I have removed the two I considered the most overbearing when it comes to aroma, and I still have aroma going down, I think it must be the 3BOG that was overpowering my filter/fan. I also have Sweet and Sour going, and she has just the perfect structure you would want from a plant as she is open and starting to stack buds. She had a sweet thing going on, but its hard to seperate the aroma coing from the closet right now. The 3BOG comes down next week, between day 80-85.

Got a couple of updates on my garden, seems it has been awhile. This week, the Mephisto 3 Bears OG got the chop. I was waiting for her to get `20-30% amber, but I had a window to chop and the next window would have been another 7-10 days later, so I took her at Day 84 with about 10% amber. In her last weeks of swelling and fattening up, she really lost all of her shape and just became a large block of bud. She wasn't too tall (due to my early nute mishap), so as she swelled she just looked like a plant that was telling me that she was ripe for budrot. RH% in my cab was right around 30-35%, and I had an extraction fan/filter and a regular fan at all times moving air, but I felt there was still a chance since she was so swelled up. She yielded ok even though I may have stunted her early on. Wet yield was 270 grams wet, or probably around 70 grams dry. She has been finally nailed as the main culprit in my cabinet that was killing my fan/filter combo. She really stunk at the end. She has been drying for several days now. Looking forward to tasting her real soon. Now some pictures.

that’s a beautiful plant Seymour
3 Bears is the only OG from Mephisto I’m yet to pick up, grown a Ripleys, growing a Samsquanch currently and have Skywalker seeds awaiting space...seeing this and reports that she stinks will endure she’s on the next Mephisto order.
Great growing.

Nice report .... I’ve got a 3 Bears, about 60 days old ...... question - when you say 270 grams wet will equal 70 grams dry estimate ...... Thr 270 gram wet weight, is that the entire plant stem and all or?

The 270 grams wet (trim) is buds only. I remove all the buds, wet trim them. With the wet trim I include all the larfy/popcorn buds that didn't get much light. So the 270 grams wet is all well formed buds. I usually see only about 25% of the wet weight after she reaches ~60% RH in the jars during cure. That is when I take her final weight. I got at least 10-15 grams of popcorn buds, and at least that much of trim. All the trim from this round of auto's will be frozen and screened to produce kief through a 150/100 micron screens later this spring. I then take that kief and turn it into hash for my buddies to enjoy at the tailgate this fall. Waste not want not...

Final update for today, Sweet & Sour - Day 70. She has a few branches that have been pollinated with Stone Dragon pollen. I expect that the unpollinated branches will be ready for harvest around Day 80-85, and the seeded branches will be ready by Day 95. She definitely has the Sweet thing going on, but as you linger the sour begins to take over. Very unique aroma. If she smokes as good as she smells, she will be one hell of a plant.

Thank you very much for reply / answer :thanks:

Newbie so me need to ask to figure!

My next pollen chucking is a couple of weeks away. My three willing females are Blue Toof Special, Gold Glue, and 24 Carat. The 24 Carat was mutated at birth, and I started another about a week later. But a little TLC and she looks ready to go. She has not started flowering yet, so I may introduce some Bud Explosion on her next feeding. The Gold Glue and Blue Toof Special started flowering about 1 week back. If all goes well, they will be receiving pollen in th next 10-14 days.
