This will be my first grow

For lights I have a mars hydro ts 600

I'm growing in a medium size room with white walls

I got 1 northern light 1 gorilla glue and 1 cream

Ocean forest soil

5 gallon fabric pots

I'm also planning on getting nutes of some sort how much yield should I expect from this set up loosely.

All depends on you, and you only! You could get 10g dry if ya mess it up, or 100+ if ya do your research and understand what you’re doing.

Hey buddy.. I think your light is recommended for 1.5 sq foot coverage in flower If I'm lookin at the right one? It's easy to put yield first when your startin out.. my advice is to forget about yield and concentrate on actually gettin your plants from seed to harvest successfully.. to be honest if that is the coverage for your light then you're probably not gonna get huge plants and to go a step further.. just my opinion.. you prob wouldn't need pots that big.. anyway.. like I say.. best to aim for a successful harvest rather than a big number as that almost always ends in disappointment lol.. even if you only pulled 10g per plant it'll still be an ounce of quality smoke and lots of experience gained. Will you be journaling the grow??

@hope2grow is right, your light is too small to flower 3 plants in a 1.5 sf. and pots are too big.One plant can easily get to 24' in diameter'.
Get a second light if you really want to do 3 plants and it will still be borderline. With that light only i wouldn't do more then 2.How big is your room?
Don't see a fan in your list,do you have one? Gonna need one to blow a nice breeze too.
All those factors add up to determine what yield you get.
On my first grow,i had read alot (and i mean a lot!), had good equipements and advices from here and my Northern Lights gave me half a pound right on the money so big yields are possible but depends on a lot...including and mostly, good lighting.
Good luck!

The room is maybe 30 square feet, yes I have a window fan that brings air in and out. I was going to get a oscillating fan to put in front of them. And thanks

Well here's to hoping a decent harvest as lofty as a go add l that may be I was hoping at least 20gs a plant but as long as they grow successfully and I learn something than that's solid to. I read bigger plots bigger plants. I was going to use two purple led bulbs on each side as well it might help a little I guess Haha.

I've been researching a bit for the last week I was going to try LST I heard it increases yield slightly hoping

@Jack north :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: If you do everything well then 1.5 grams per/watt of actual energy to your light = ~150g is what you can grow. I am guessing odor control is not needed where you are? Like the others have suggested concentrate on keeping your plants happy. Top your plant above the 4th node and just leave it alone after that (other than staking it up when needed). You will learn much in this grow. :goodluck:

Well the window is by the woods however I do have neighbors that are close by so maybe a carbon filter. The actual wattage on this light is about 110

Get them in.. get them growin.. see how they go M8.. learn as you go.. and if you can get another light to go with your mars 600 that would be great.. even a cheaper end blurple to supplement.. I don't think 20g per plant is impossible by any means with that light but it will depend on all your other factors as well.. if your temp and humidity in the room is bang on most the time they'll have the best chance possible. Journal it if you can and lots of peeps on here will guide you through.
