Hi to all who may still be following this thread! I am still planning on practicing the dark art of selfing with my HubbaBubbaSmelloScope, thought I should share a pic of her today.
Still going to take a while to get to spraying but she is progressing quite well. Unfortunately my tent was getting very hot during the day so it is displaying some heat stress related leaf tip curling and some malformed leaves. I have switched lighting to dark cycle during hottest part of the day and lights on at night, also added more fans.
Did a res change yesterday as well, adding 1/3 strength nutes instead of the 1/4 that I had going. I don't know if it is the heat or the strain but it seems to be growing really fast. I think the higher nutes will help keep her happy. Certainly more calcium and magnesium will help, and alleviate any doubt I had that the leaf curling was a cal/mag issue... No leaf discoloration though so I am pretty positive that it is heat related:

I started to spray this branch on one plant with Tiresias Mist.
I think it might be too late to try since its already showing sex but wanted to try anyway the plant is 31 days old.
Would be nice to collect some pollen if I can at least do that.

No you should be right on schedule. I start right after first preflowers. You may be a little late but in the end if you just want pollen you should be great to go. Hopefully you will get fully developed flowers. My last reversal didn't go as planned and for some reason all I got was underdeveloped flowers... I was doing some LST in the Aerogarden however, maybe too much stress? I am looking forward to trying it on a full grown plant without any training. I have a feeling things will go much better.

From what I gather the instructions say to spray the stem not the foliage and so far my stem has a bit of a redish hue so I hope its taking.

Here is a TD that Ive been spraying for about 3 weeks now. The branch has been getting it 2x a day, started with a home made 10ppm solution and it wasnt doing much at all, moved up a few days ago to a 20ppm solution and its done a lot more to dry up the pistils and the leaves are distorting also on the bud. Doing some research ive determined I started too late, but hopefully I can get some balls to show.... I was thinking about making an even strong solution, but I dont know if it will be necessary. Please someone with experience weigh in on this, I really need some female pollen!

I have used Tiresias mist before but never used anything else. I make my own, and after you do so you will be so pissed at the people that make Tiresias mist! They are complete scam artists, but save your bottle! At least they are packaging the product correctly!
I just wish I could find a thread somewhere on anybody that has successfully selfed a plant instead of having to grow two. I read nothing but hermie issues on selfing but man it would be great to only have to grow one plant!
Edit: This thread is going to be long in the experimental field. One doesn't just get their seeds and immediately plant. They have to be thoroughly dried and then aged. This is more of a pet project instead of instant gratification, like all cannabis breeding projects. We will all need to practice patience, and accept our findings if we indeed see that the hermie rate skyrockets. Just wanted to touch on what we are all getting into if we self plants
