New Grower Seeds arrived, quick question.

The S.A.D auto seeds in the little container seem to stick inside of it, i have to tap the container to get the seeds to move? I can literally hold my pack upside down and the seeds wont roll, I have to tap the container to get them to move. Maybe their just big or have some tricomes on em that are still super sticky! The breeder pack says May 11th 2011. So their not toooo old. Their nice n brown and pretty big! Just wondering what could be giving them a hard time moving, size, tricomes, maybe some glue thats holding the container on the package?

My guess would be trics, but I have only had seeds stick that were not very old but they germed ok.

I don't think there's anything to worry about, a 12-24 hour soak before planting will really help get them started. As you guessed, I would agree that there are probably either trichs or some natural oils making them slightly sticky...

Sweet, was worried something could be on them and would effect germination.

Are you serious boil seeds... thats crazy its just a seed, either it will germ or not, soak it and begin your grow...

The seeds are probably fine. Never had a problem with Sweet Seeds...every seed i've got from them have germed no problem.

I was just wondering why they are stuck to the tube inside and need tapped to move. Wonder if it could be the size or trichs eitherway they are going to be germinated this spring!
