New Grower Seedling Growth Stunted

It'll grow out of it fine. But hey, are you sure that part of the seed husk isn't still stuck on the cotyl leaves? Sometimes, the husk falls away but leaves a thin membrane behind, stuck to one or both of the cotyl leaves. No big deal, can be carefully removed.

So the two cotyledons are definitely fused together about halfway down. The one true leaf doesn't have a sister leaf anywhere to be found, not even a small fucked up one. However, I can see little bitty secondary true leaves coming in so I guess I've got nothing to worry about! It definitely got stunted by having half the photosynthesis power, but I also think it was because my tent got up to 90* F for a few hours on the second day after germination. That's since been resolved and I am finally getting a handle on my watering schedule (I've already got an abused bagseed that is small that I had just as practice, and learned from that) the growth has definitely picked up.

It'll be fine soon, seedlings are always full of suprises they grow out of in a week or two :)

Do not worry about how that seedling looks....everyone freaks out during their first grow ....weird leaves in the beggining means nothing. And its impossible to tell at this stage if it is stunted. On my last grow and my current one....the smallest...shitty-set looking seedling turned out to be my tallest plants in each grow. Everything will be fine.....dont over water.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes!

I had one Short Rider that didn't pop, so I replanted and it's barely poking up now! I also have three unknown seeds growing in small containers: one was my first plant (just bagseed in on-hand soil) and is mostly for honing my skills, a second is a little bagseed sprout that I am allowing my friend to keep in the tent until it starts interfering, and the third is a random seed poking up from the free 10-pack from Nirvana (which I plan on keeping on the same track as the Short Riders, male=pollen collection, female= switch to a 12/12 after my autos are done if shes a photoperiod)

Nirvana Short Riders are very stable plants ... I grew a pair last year and they were unkillable and a damned fine smoke ...

I had a Seedsman WW do the EXACT same thing, it took a few weeks to come around and was a little stunted at first but no worries...
