New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

@Hypathetical Gardener , @KREATURE I ordered twice from MidWeek song. Highly recommnded. Both times, I received my order a week after completing. Just as quick as GC, actually.

I just went on and bought all of the seeds I have been dreaming of trying. Night queen was top of my list! Sometime in 2019, I am going to run Eleven Roses by Delicious Seeds, and Strawberry Banana by DNA Genetics. Such awesome strains. Both photo though. I think my GG prepared me for that, though! Lol!

What is pretty compelling is that everyone that has converted to autopots, whether from soil or DWC, never regret the move. They seem happy.
It's gotta be the simplicity of it. The first 3 weeks are the same as anything hand watered, but after that there's only really weekly work on feeding/ph etc. Just set and forget. I'm barely in week 2, so not a lot to base my word on, but looking forward to seeing what this system will do for me :)

I wanna run organics in autopots. Just trying to figure out how top dressing dry amendments would work... Maybe have yo shut off the system for a day, top dress, top water a time or 2, then turn it back on... Itd be nice cuz 6 to 8 plants gets overwhelming quick

Organic soil would get swamped pretty quickly. Air domes would be a must, though I wonder if an organic tea would work or if it would just separate and / or sludge up the 1/4" feed lines... I guess you could just use water in the rez if your soil has enough in it. I haven't a clue about organics except in my veggie gardens ;) even then I'm ammending throughout the season. Hrmmmm

I wouldnt run anything but water in the rez. Id be top dressing as long as i could get the nutes down into the soil... Still working logistics with a few people including my local growshop owner.

I was only gone three days, but i was really worried when I left, since the small plant hadn't put roots in the water yet, so I set the auto top drip to feed for 15 minutes once a day, hoping that would be the right amount.

PPM is around 500, and ph is holding at 6.1 (Thanks AN Ph Perfect!). The temperature does get down to 68 at the low point, but hovers around 75 most of the time. I might have to consider some heating solution for a small space as temps drop in the garage. @Mañ'O'Green @MedCzech Any suggestions for an effective small space heater that won't affect humidity negatively?

Looks like it everything worked out okay while I was gone. The smaller plant is still small compared to her the other, but is growing nicely now that she has a good amount of roots in the water. The larger lower fan leaves on both plants are still curly from me stupidly starting them off with no nutes in the water. However, both plants are growing vigorously, and the new growth has good color and texture. Looking good after week 1.

Those look AWESOME for 7 days old! Really excited for this grow. Good things are happening out in the garage, I can tell.
