You know what bro? I think trimming all those fan leaves has stunted the bud growth a bit. I have never seen a calyx structure quite like you have on either of your girls. You don't have any fan leaves to bring more energy into the buds. I actually do think you may have over done that a bit. You need some of those fan leaves to bring more energy to the plant.

They still look awesome, and your tiled will be very good, but since I have grown at least 21 of these plants in the last three years, I have a good comparison...like I said, no worries at all, looking goo, but I wasn't wondering a ways back if I told look like you tool all the leaves. I can't say as I have ever done that before. I a

Well, let's see what happens over these last few weeks. If these buds are stunted, it might be a good thing because there is hardly any room between the colas as it stands right now!

There are still plenty of fans, but just not on the top of the colas. They are lower down and the big ones are on outside of the plant, where they weren't blocking anything. I haven't seen any signs of the buds slowing down just yet, and I haven't started Overdrive yet, so they still have work to do!

Like I said, I think it’s not a big deal, but you might want to manage that from grow to grow based on strain, space,etc.

Girls looking good. Overdrive will definitely boost them a bit. Pistils still looking there are some white there so you are about three weeks out I would say.

Plus the UV light will fill up those trichs with oils!!

Thanks Med. I will definitely consider that on the next grow. The UV light is in now, so looking forward to see what it does! I am starting with six hours per day, and will adjust up if no issues with the plants.

Installed my Reptisun 10 yesterday. The plan is to move it each day or two to different places on the canopy. Trying to get this Trichs and terpenes!

Trichs are still mostly clear with some cloudy. Should be mostly cloudy by Friday when I will switch bud bud to overdrive to signal the last two weeks of flowering, which will put the plants close to day 90.

Thanks CD. I have been reading about the effects of UVB and am sold. Plus it’s cheap and low wattage, and fits in a standard light bulb fixture. Why not add it for the last three weeks?

Will let you folks know if I notice anything dramatic.
