New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

The bendz will get you this classic shape I feel you don't top though almost every time.

Here it is visible earlier in this grow when I was using them on the branching on the Massive Midget right and the Fruit Punch, center. The problems were already happening bid time in this grow, so the exact shape would be a little different, and the size would be bigger, but this gives you the idea how they are used and the shape it give some the plants.

Progressing along, but the candelabra shape is apparent.

You can see the two plants on the right got full training. They had more issues, so they are smaller, but the shape, again is there. Usually I want about 100 to 150 grams plants like this, not 50 gram plants, but ok, water under the bridge...all good now. Just wanted to show you what they give you.
With topping, they will give you a more even canopy, I like the main cola look, and don't know why, but I just like to grow that way sometimes. Next grow, I will top and train more aggressively to make a wider canopy and flatter.

Beautiful plants man. I think the Bendz work perfectly for a situation like yours with no height restrictions. My situation called for widening and flattening, so yeah, in retrospect, I am glad I couldn't find the Bendz and that you found these alternates that turned out to be even better for me!

Will continue to watch the plant s closely to see if I should adjust the current lighting formula and/or placement. Feel like I have some good options if needed.

I'm going to have to get some Stem Trainers for next time... I like the idea of spreading out the bend evenly over several inches to avoid constraining pathways within the stem by bending more dramatically at one or two points.

Fully recommend, Exivious. I won’t grow without them again!

So, I haven't been able to tend to the plants as I would like because the inlaws having been visiting since Christmas Eve, and I didn't want to draw attention to my stealth grow in the garage! Also, I am heading out of town until Tuesday. I just filled up the top off tank with my reduced feed strength and snapped a couple quick pictures.

The plants are still doing their thing. Only now, I think I have two phenos. One has more purple hues with darker leaves and buds, with less imternodal space. It is also now about a week ahead of the other in bud development. The slower one is taller and has a leaves with a little lighter shade. Very healthy, but always a bit behind her sister. Both smell like scrumptious strawberry cream! Yum! It would be cool to have two phenos, as long as one if the strawberry milkshake I have been yearning for.

I know I will have some defoliating to do when I get back on New Year's Day. Got to keep the bud sites open and air flowing.

I also want to note that I have one of the cobs when working with the plants, as it quickly gets too bright for my eyes otherwise. This explains the shadows on one side.

I am looking at it as a blessing that one plant is a week behind. It took forever to harvest my Gorilla Glue last time, and both plants have more and taller colas than she ever did. I remember looking forward to my first trimming. That got old real quick!

You are going to be doing some trimming on these girls...like a few hours worth at least. Plants look good. Looks like you got the Either the SB spice or the Sweet creamy pine pheno for the other one. Looking a littlest more like the SB spice. The was She Hulk, she got huge!! Over 100 grams more than the sister pheno. She was also tall, lighter green and finished two weeks after the others.

Thanks, Med. A two week staggered harvest would be ideal. It would allow me to flush them for a couple days, and still ramp feeding back up for the other, before flushing her. It would be awesome to get the two phenos you mentioned based on your previous grow and smoke reports! Can't wait to see what they look like on Monday. It's like Christmas all over again!

Wow, your ladies are looking AWESOME! Really maturing nicely. The buds get noticeably chunkier every time I see them. Have a great weekend!
