New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Tell me about it! Avoided ordering today, at least. One day at a time.

My name is Pigskinfantasy. I am a seedaholic. It has been 18 days since my last seed order.

Looking awesome brother! Gotta love DP genetics for sure, but Mephisto has some very dank strains, just Lower yields generally. In many cases the Mephisto is actually a better smoke, but you rarely see huge yields. I have had a few of them get pretty large though.
Decided to start my spreadsheet now!

ok. Dude you have Mephisto Sour Livers...that must go in your next run bro! One of the strongest strains I ever grew. It was only a 45 gram plant or something like that, but I don't remember much of spring and summer '13 due to the haze I seem to have in my memory from that dope bro. That was the strain that made me a Mephistohead. Dutch Passion IS the best genetics, but there are a lot of great strains.

Ask @Mañ'O'Green he will tell you. Tons of great genetics out there to try. Don't ignore some of the older strains. Good 'ole Skunk [HASHTAG]#11[/HASHTAG], or some Maui Waui are excellent and must be grown at least once in your lifetime.
As I said, Fastbuds GSC is a real favorite and I am now running it again a year after the first run. Tasty stuff, and I love flavor more than anything else.
BTW, I think you have two different phenos there, and I think the one up front in the last photo could be the strawberry shortcake. I had to go back and look at photos, but the more dense vegging plant looks similar to both of mine that turned into that elusive strain. Keep the blurple on her and get those reds in veg baby. You may have gotten lucky, but only time will tell.

Well based on that review, Sour Livers just moved up for a tie with DP Blueberry. I have heard some great things about this strain, unanimously. It was also what initially made me interested in Mephisto, then I started also seeing CDLC grows and reviews, and the purple pheno of strawberry nuggets looks absolutely scrumptious. But, yeah, Sour Livers has moved up in the pecking order based on the above!

I am so happy to hear that I may have that pheno! Even if I end up with the other that tastes similar, I will be happy. Looks like they have the chance to be big producers.

I have two 3000k 80cri cobs just waiting for the first pistils to appear. When that happens, I will let it rain on these Queens! Sticking with the plan to get that elusive pheno!

Oh gosh those look good
Day 20

1200 ppms
6.0 ph
78 degrees
65 humidity

Mid week update:

The Queens are doing well. I did some strategic defoliation on both, just to expose the secondary shoots, hoping to get more dominant tops growing towards the light. They responded really well. I am so happy with the structure of these plants! I am confident that I will be able to train them to efficiently use up the full cabinet.

Judging by their start and current vigor, they are going to be big ones, so my goal is to try to maximize the bud ratio in the process. They have been so easy to grow so far. Absolutely no issues! And tell me again, why would I consider switching nutes from AN?

The ppms rose a bit, but I don't think they have reached their maximum intake. Will probably inch the ppms up just a touch during this weekend's reservoir change.

Love me some Dutch Passion genetics! This grow has now put Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry in the lead for my next grow. Slightly ahead of three Mephisto contenders, which are tied for second.

Happy Thanksgiving, my AFN brethren! I have my turkey brining for a day now. Gonna slow smoke it with applewood tomorrow morning. Been doing it this way for a couple years, after frying Cajun style for a decade. Good eating.

CDLC and Strawberry Nuggets both in my Spring run next year, plus another Orange Biscuit. That girl grew so much in the last three weeks. She now towers over all the rest, and her nugs are so sticky already. Mephisto creates some seriously tasty buds, I just wish they could get together with DP and turn them into 250 gram monsters. I would like to run three or four plants only next run, but my sickness for chasing after flavor, always gets the best of me and I run six or seven, regretting it the last month as they are all starving for light.

I won't have to worry this run. Some of the girls are already looking close to harvest and have very little bud to show for it. My bad though...:dang:

I tell you this, the GSC strain will be excellent smoke. It stinks like crazy in the tent.

This run is looking epic for you man. Those plants are flawless. Keep rocking on. I am headed out to the tent for my nightly feeding, training, etc. as well as packing a large spoon of some She-Hulk with a little of Jessica's hash. That should help me glue my ass down nicely for the rest of the evening, but for now,...off to the MedCave!!:salute:

Passing one over man! :pass:

Genetics is why I have so many different seeds - I want it all! I agree that some of the old land race genetics should be on everyone's to do list. I just grew Wild Thailand this summer and it is fantastic. The rosin yield is ~26% and the buzz is uplifting, near-psychedelic, strong and long lasting. Cartoons are awesome on it.

Agreed, this grow will be so much better than his last. Awesome work, and a man that learns from his lessons. Great job PSF!

Right on, Med! I have come a long way, man. Much thanks to your advice throughout.
