New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Good find, Med! I have been looking for those Bendz for a while, and could not find any US outlet. These are great substitutes! Will definitely check the, out! Exactly what I was looking for!

Actually looks better by far than the bends bro. You can really manipulate the stem exactly as you wish. I may get a set of them to try myself.

Where was this last grow when I needed it!

After testing the plants, @MedCzech was right, it was perfect time to tie down the tops with a little LST training. I just used my plant ties and anchored with magnets. Both plants blended willingly. I already love the structure of the plants better!

PPMs crept up a bit, but plants seem to be heavy feeders early, and no sign of stress. I lowered the lights a couple inches to about 22 above the canopy. Very happy with where they are and how they are looking!

Mid week update:

The Queens are doing well. I did some strategic defoliation on both, just to expose the secondary shoots, hoping to get more dominant tops growing towards the light. They responded really well. I am so happy with the structure of these plants! I am confident that I will be able to train them to efficiently use up the full cabinet.

Judging by their start and current vigor, they are going to be big ones, so my goal is to try to maximize the bud ratio in the process. They have been so easy to grow so far. Absolutely no issues! And tell me again, why would I consider switching nutes from AN?

The ppms rose a bit, but I don't think they have reached their maximum intake. Will probably inch the ppms up just a touch during this weekend's reservoir change.

Love me some Dutch Passion genetics! This grow has now put Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry in the lead for my next grow. Slightly ahead of three Mephisto contenders, which are tied for second.

Happy Thanksgiving, my AFN brethren! I have my turkey brining for a day now. Gonna slow smoke it with applewood tomorrow morning. Been doing it this way for a couple years, after frying Cajun style for a decade. Good eating.
