New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Ok, lighting up some Strawberry Milkshake bud with a little Strawberyy hash on top:hookah:

You will love this stuff. Yep, wait for first sign of pistils and then hit them with the softer light. Those reds in there hopefully can trigger those genetics like it did for me. I am fairly confident that is the key to triggering that in the ANQ strain.
Even though I have had great difficulties in my current grow, I did achieve the smaller plants I wanted and with good shape, unfortunately the stunted growth in the beginning has really limited what my yield looks to be. Plus, no Dutch Passion this grow. DP is the best genetics out there, and I think they are quite a bit ahead. I can grow big monsters, even in my hard water, and other genetics really struggle. Mephisto has beeen good as well. The Orange Biscuit from their latest release, is the healthiest looking plant in the tent right now.
Now I finally invested in a complete water treatment system, with both RO water, and mixing that with my tap water which is also filtered with active charcoal, deluxe drinking water system. Now my water is really perfect TBH. So the struggle in this grow was worth the reward of now knowing I have everything in perfect order and all my future grows will be uninhibited by any outside issues. I will grow some lovely little girls next spring. Just trying to get something out of this grow. It won't be much in terms of volume, but should get better quality buds, if I can get the last few weeks dialed in and boost these ladies up!

Good luck man, your off to a great start, and that is huge in the Auto world.:pass:passing one over.

Now that's a scary thought. I can't wait to see what you grow with that environment, water, and your experience, man! You may set a record! Don't discount your current grow though. Those plants have recovered well.. all of them, and I am taking the over in bud weight. You are gonna be surprised. Mark my words!

Yeah, well taking the over is probably a mistake bro. The problems early caused the plants to lockout Potassium and I didn't see it because of all the other problems in there. The two nicest plants in the back almost grew nothing since you last saw them. They still look like plants in week three of flower, and most leaves are burnt out. :cuss:
I have remedied the situation, but unfortunately there is not enough time to fix it before they will need to come out of the tent. What was looking like two 80 gram plants, might give me 25 grams total of bud that won't even be that good. Again, lesson learned...my well water is just too inconsistent, and I don't know what I am getting. It changes with the season as the water table rises and lowers. I couldn't dial anything in, and as I said, it's high calcium content locked out Potassium, and combined with the perlite reaction with screwed up the ph, I was chasing ghosts every day.c:dizzy:
At least know I will know that any error will be my error, not something I can't control.
You found something out as well. We all can continue to learn and improve.

You are right though, I will try and grow a couple monsters in the next grow again, but I don't want them getting too tall. I will be aggressive with LST. :eyebrows:

Anyway, good catching up bro! Good to see your grow is going well. I will be watching. I will post some photos of my grow in next couple days. Just been very busy this fall.

That sucks about the growth stall, Med! Didn't know that. I will definitely still take the over on 25 grams from both plants, though! I will be watching this finish, but now I am anxious to see the nest grow, too! Good catching up, bro!

By the way, @MedCzech . I read and loved your smoke report on the ANQ, but it wasn't on the strawberry milkshake pheno.

Just saw where you took another puff of it. How does it taste and smell after a full cure? Can you post some cured bud pictures, as extra motivation for this grower? Thanks Bro!!

Will do bro! I will post a couple photos of the cured buds.

There were four phenos I got from seven plants. The first was Jessica. She was a piney, creamy, sweet bud that is very balanced with a little might time tendency for helping sleep. She still tastes the same now after a long cure.
The second was Stretch. She was more like Fire OG, strawberry rocket fuel I called it. She was sweet, strawberry flavor with a spicey, fuel like dank, but now she tastes like a sweet pickled strawberry. Even the jars smell a little like pickled fruit or something strange, but it is not bad at all. My favorite for daytime. I picked her earlier so she has a little up buzz to her.
The third was She-Hulk. Her buds were huge, that's why she got that name. Two buds over 25 grams dried each, she has nearly eight nugs that size. She tasted like strawberry spice with an earthy after taste. Not bad, but I didn't like her as much, so I made a ton of hash from her. Used up almost 200 grams on hash alone. Well,...now she tastes great. She tastes like the strawberry milkshake pheno, but she tricked me at first. Good thing I have a big jar full of the tops left. Night time only on this girl. She was harvested late, with like 50% amber....can you say couch-lock...
The last was actually the first harvested. That was the strawberry milkshake pheno named strawberry. She smelled like fresh wild strawberries, tastes like creamy fresh strawberries, and still tastes and smells the same, except, the high is more in my head than with She Hulk. I only smoke her buds on special occasions like days off or Sunday Football from time to time.

You will love the ANQ. Stretch also turned a little purple in her leaves, and had a little more color at harvest than the others. They all tasted a little different, yet all are excellent. My friend told me that Stretch is one of the best buds he ever smoked, and that he could smoke that all day, every day!

Excellent excellent smoke report, bro! I don't know who can resist growing this magnificent strain after reading that! I am going to flag this one for the ncouragment and motivation throughout this grow. I think I have two of those phenos! Gonna be fun to figure out which ones!

Big time reps! :slap:

Day 17

1030 ppms
5.9 ph
78 degrees
65 humidity

Changed the reservoir and upped the ppms as planned. Nothing really to report. The plants continue to grow like crazy. Don't think I will top anymore. I will try to encourage sidebranching, but will mostly let I think grow out from here, defoliating and training as necessary.

Ok bro, here are some quick buds picks I just snapped in the MedCave! This first girl is Stretch. The pickled strawberry something or other...love her!

IMG_1943.JPG

Here's Jessica. Named after Jessica Alba, specifically from Fantastic Four as most of my plants are somehow connected to Super heroes,...not really sure how that happened?! I named her that because she was perfect in size, structure, and sexy looking. Now she has this creamy, sweet pine flavor. I love a pipe and a cup of coffee with her.

Here she is, the infamous, elusive, Strawberry Milkshake pheno. Actually I forgot I named her Sasha, after a Russian Superhero, half naked hot chick that could suck the chrome m a trailer hitch. This plant smelled so awesome, I didn't want to chop her down. Still tastes just like a strawberry milkshake.

This was the surprise bud right here,...She Hulk. I put her up close, just so you could see why I called her that. fat buds, like they were on steroids compared to the other girls. Plus, now she tastes almost the same as the strawberry milkshake. She didn't start out that way. It was more strawberry spice.

Happy for the curing change there. I hope that helps motivate you my friend. I think your girls will be even better in the DWC. Enjoy!

Another pick of SheHulk...

Oh yeah, well of course I had to spark up some Stretch with a little She Hulk hash while I was there!
