Reduced feeds the last week is a good start to getting it to use up all stored extra food. You will still be putting on weight at the end.

@Ripper , changing the subject just a little, I saw all the new grow battle posts in the battle zone section.
I don't understand exactly which i can be a part of. It seems that some I need to have won something already, some not... some I need a sponsor, some not...
I am 3-4 days from finishing the above grow (harvest this sunday), and I would love to get involved in a battle. Can you help, please? Which one can/should I be a part of?

Sunday will be B56, I flushed last Sunday. And when I came back yesterday, there were fewer amber trichomes than there were last week. They actually look clear like they are new. Can the flush cause this?
I know that sometimes buds throw out new trichomes, but then how do I know when to harvest?

Just broke down the nuggets and put them in paper bags for the next 3-5 days.
Looks like a good harvest.
Initial thoughts:
1. Golden Skunk: the nicest of the plants, it has a great pungent skunky smell with a bit of sweetness to it. Fat dense nugs
2.Grizzley Purple Kush A ("Runty"). Runty had a hard beginning but filled out very nicely. Sadly her nuggets are airy and leafy. Smell is half of her sister ([HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]) and yield is is prob also 1/2. The one great thing about the plant is it turned a very strong purple at the end of her life. Many have complained of not seeing the purple pheno of GPK. Sad it did not really produce for me but she was a beautiful plant.
3. Grizzly Purple Kush B. Amazing sweet flavors of berry. Nice thick plentiful buds. Much more dense than her sis. The sweet berry flavor is really amazing.
4. Critical Auto (did not autoflower). This plant yielded well. A nice crop of dense buds. But I think they will leave something to be desired. The smell, even at harvest, was really not the best and kinda dirt-like. But we'll see when I roll up the first joint in a couple weeks...
