Day 71
I’ve been expecting the 24c and the strawberry nuggets to finish up at some point this week but they keep making new growth with fresh white pistils shooting out. There’s a small percentage of amber trichs on the buds but most of the sugar leaves are 50/50 cloudy/amber. That tells me it should be ready but new growth continues. I’ll let them go another week but I’m already a little anxious about the ratios... I like mostly cloudy with 10-20% amber. I can hear the executioner sharpening his blade... you hear that?
The skywalker is dry. Took 5 days at 65f and 55% humidity. Hung the colas individually on coat hangars in my drying tent (2x2x4) with one vent flap fully opened and a small fan blowing out. It’s sticky as hell and smells like citrus and OG. If you’ve never smelled OG, it’s piney, fuely, fresh, salty, amazing combination that really has its own unique profile, but I digress..... Tastes how it smells. I’ll give another evaluation after a proper cure, but it’s right on par with the photoperiod version. It’s a tad more spicier and the terpene profile is considerably more complex than the photo version but I attribute that to the organics. I’ve only grown the photo version with synthetics.
She’s also just as strong as the photo variety, if not stronger. I have to once again attribute some of that to the organics. More complete terp and cannabanoid profile = better high.
All in all I give Skywalker a 10/10 for ease of grow, ease of trim, flavor, and smell. 9/10 for potency. 7/10 for bag appeal.
Got a couple of “lights off” pics but she fired up after snapping only 2... so here’s the straw nugs...

Still not ready... Skywalker chopped at 64 days and nothing since! Strawberry nuggets and double grape look the closest. Keep in mind the DG is on day 72.
Still several fresh calyxs with white pistils forming.
My Skywalker jar is close to half gone already, lol. Wife and I can’t keep our hand out of the jar.
