SANlight SANlight Q6W test grow

Yeah, it's a prob when they're just about done, and then another burst of calyxes.
Had a photo strain years ago that would do that.
At the time, didn't know about trichomes and their color, just watched maturity of the pistils.
So the first burst of pistils is all brown, and the calyxes nicely swollen,
but then the second burst is still very fresh and not at all mature.
So if I wait for the second burst to mature, then the first burst is over ripe...

Just running some guerilla La Buena Hierba autos outside now.
Links in my signature line, but not much to see at the moment.
Give it a few more weeks and may have some sticky icky nuggets of joy.
Tag me now and again on your thread please I pop into that many I forget were they are but I can look from your sig on my desktop as ya cant see it on mobile and thanks for the advice

i seen it happen with my own eyes with some pheno types of dutch passion ultimate never stops throwin pistils up till week 11 of flower its the longest we left one go just to see if it would stop i reckon its genetics related in some way not sure on the line that were used in this auto

The solo cup one I did was completely different than her big sister but the big girl has decent sized buds and just seemed to change direction from filling out to throwing pistols left and right but I recon I still should do great yield wise and if anything it's all experience .also few pics of her sister

:hump: wow, she's having a second puberty!.... definitely has fattened up more,... The Mammoth P just might be big factor here, if there was lots of P kinda locked up and then kicked free by the 'crobe activity from the MP,.... Also, Shiva luv here makes a good point about some odd "surges" in blooming activity... It's not common that I can tell, but as mentioned I've had a couple that did this, including the weird C99a I grew last year that did a few odd things... Sexed early, but underwent a ridiculous stretching and budding definitely pulsed twice! I thought she was starting to really get busy, then she shot up more and build more heavily on what buds she had... Did not auto really, and she ended up an full time OD plant, but finished nicely if rather late!
Ripening speed can be pretty variable, so resign yourself to frequent trich' scoping, and take her when your eyes and nose tell you she's at her best :pass:

i took a load of the tops off the trichomes say shes done here is a before and after I'm just going to let the bottom build up a little more
