few pics today and ive had a few problems one of my blue cheese has been showing tons of deficiencies in the last 10 days i first started getting mottled leaves so believing i was overfeeding her i cut my feed to all my plants as they are all on the same res but everything i tried never seemed to totally fix her so as i last resort i took her out off the feed for a good inspection and flush her as shes 7 weeks old today . and when i disturbed the top layer of coco i got hit with a smelly egg smell so i had some rot at the top of my coco and a green algae so i believe ive had root rot luckily the roots look ok so maybe shes fixable i also ordered some silver root and i will be letting her dry out totally and top feed her in moderation till the end so i totally misdiagnosed it the other 3 girls are great .I would appreciate any advice my elder girl is 9 weeks today and cheese ones 7 and the stilton girl is 6 weeks

Great journal St Tom, just found it and got caught up. Subbed up now, I’ll be watching and learning. Pretty nice looking light, not sure how testing works, do you get to keep it at the end? Sweet deal either way. Yes, I think you may have your hands full heading into the Feb 1 germ deadlines, got some fancy footwork to do myself. Happy growing!

thank you, my friend, and yes it will be a little tricky with the feb starts but these will all be finished going into the month so i may have juvenile plants that will need to be kept in 3l airpots till they can go into the 15l ones and onto the res... also to get on the test team to do all of the levels start off with seed tests for level 1 to get there you need to compete in the general battle this year and as you go along it took me 2 yrs to get to level 3 then you can test lights ect and yes i believe all equipment you keep

I have never used Silver Roots but have had really good results with Botanicare HydroGuard for root problems.

a few mid-week pics im waiting on the root stuff the affected girl has been left off the res and im letting her dry up before i feed her again a light feed and the silver bullet stuff . plus the guys at sanlight sent me some stickers to pimp my room out its the least i can do for letting me test these great lights so expect lots in my pics in the next couple of weeks they will be in all of them .. anyway couple of more pics of my white train and my stilton special both by Mephisto the elder girl 9 weeks and younger sister is 6 weeks and can anyone remember i split her stem in half and shes still powered through with lots of tops im so happy with her

midweek update i got the silver bullet roots a couple of days ago and put 8ml to 10 ltr of feed in my res and out of there i top fed my main affected plant and in 2 days she looks miles better im getting some nice green colour to my girl again the left side girls will be 8 weeks in 3days

It's good stuff that Silver Bullets, I've had root rot issues this grow myself and it sorted it right out but the damage was enough to stop development of buds so I just have popcorn buds all over my girls top to bottom lol
It will kill all bacteria good or bad though and often will kill some of the good stuff in the nutrients so don't use it for to long mate if you can avoid it
