Honestly think a cheap 20 quid one inside each tent would work better than a bigger one in same room manly when lights go of humidity can build up on inside walls of tent from the plants transpiration and an outside dehumidifier would struggle to get this i would think?

can you suggest a small one mate as I've got no idea what would the lowest tank one be as I will go will the smaller ones as a try out for in my bigger tent

I use a large hisense dehumidifier unit that's 50 pints in my lung room and it works excellent. I keep the lung room at 50-55 rh and it pulls in that slightly lower rh air and keeps my 2 tents perfect. If the humidity goes up the extraction fans just pull more air. Seems to keep it even, even with lights off. On really humid hot days I have to empty the 1-2gal bucket once a day but usually lasts 2-3 days.

Overall it will cost more, but IMO it keeps everything more stable compared to units inside the tent fighting the extraction fans.

i think yours sounds like an bigger tank one than I've seen and thanks for the tips

Well today with a heavy heart I have bad news I lost some of my front top to mold I'm absolutely gutted but I did change from my corner fans to the diffuseair and don't get me wrong you get good airflow but I really think it needs to be ducted in for fresh air instead of the way they tell you to use it with no ducting and to move the hot air downwards so @Dank Nuggets bear this in mind please .also I found the mold a couple of days ago but I've got family down today so I just chopped off every infected branch and will attack it late tonight and I'm just happy there's still plenty left over so at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel .anyhow here's some pics and the last one is the way I should of kept it I think also if you see this @Mossy that's the diffuseair View attachment 1507411View attachment 1507412View attachment 1507413View attachment 1507414View attachment 1507415View attachment 1507416View attachment 1507417

Thats a shame st on the mold its a pain in the arse all that effort just to chop the buds so near harvest they are so frosty too

Well been a busy boy I chopped all the main tops tonight and I only saw 1 more site that had mold but onwards and upwards my friends .the last pics are after my massacre

To my knowledge, most of the small ones (with a 0,5-1L) tank don't usually get a full 4x4 tent down to the desired level you want.

My tip is to get a bigger dehumidifier with both a hygrometer (with at least 40-50-60-70% as steps to put in) or 35-85% if possible.

And to have one with different positions/levels you can put in, mostly that is fan related, so low/medium/high/very high and this also changes the power draw (get one from 100 to max 300-400watt). A tent/or room in full bloom with maximum water givings and transpiration levels need quite some capacity to dehumidify to 40-50%, probably one with with about 0,5l-1L water per hour. Either choose one where you can put a hose on it so you can fill up a tank with the water, or take one with at least a 4-5L water reservoir in the machine. So it can run at least half a day at full power without emptying the tank. Trotec is a brand that I can recommend for that.

Duct Size: 6” | Dimensions: 7.9 x 12.6 x 8.4 in. | Airflow: 402 CFM | Noise: 32 dBA and I've always used my tent flaps so I'm going to duct fresh air through the diffuser with a low power rvk
