SANlight sanlight EVO 140 and 60 series perpetual grow with biotabs Dutch passion ect

Well today with a heavy heart I have bad news I lost some of my front top to mold I'm absolutely gutted but I did change from my corner fans to the diffuseair and don't get me wrong you get good airflow but I really think it needs to be ducted in for fresh air instead of the way they tell you to use it with no ducting and to move the hot air downwards so @Dank Nuggets bear this in mind please .also I found the mold a couple of days ago but I've got family down today so I just chopped off every infected branch and will attack it late tonight and I'm just happy there's still plenty left over so at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel .anyhow here's some pics and the last one is the way I should of kept it I think also if you see this @Mossy that's the diffuseair View attachment 1507411View attachment 1507412View attachment 1507413View attachment 1507414View attachment 1507415View attachment 1507416View attachment 1507417
Gutted for you bro, never nice that pesky rott. I have my defussair linked to ducting to fresh outside air with a pair of tights on the intake so i Don't get pests in and i kept 2 corner fans not needed them yet but in flower those get turned on.

I would of felt terrible if I at least didn't warn you buy hey ho no use crying over spilt milk is there but I've got a mammoth task ahead of me tonight and I'm going to do at least all the tops and just check them as I go

Do you run a dehumidifier in flower mine is constantly on when in flower I aim for no more than 45percent humidity and if your room is already humid with no ductwork to defusair would just be pumping humid air around, I think now you have ducting you will be fine. Good luck with saving as many tops as possible I’m sure you will still have plentiful strawberry cookies :pighug:

can you suggest a good dehumidifier and how often do you have to empty it is it daily also I have seen ones with a pipe to put in a bucket and I don't mind spending a little to get a good one

It's them New Fangled photoperiod things @St. Tom .....:crying:...so much Harder to Handle than an Auto....:naughtystep:
maybe aunty but as @Dank Nuggets says I've been just circling hot humid air around but I'm surely going to make some changes as I've always managed to keep my tent rh below 50 in flower so I'm going to put the diffuser in ducted and do some other changes once I can take a couple of these down as I'm going to sterilize the tent anyhow

I just use 2 little 1L ones cheap from BnM for my 4x8 i empty them into my watering can every other day when i feed them. Seen people place them at top of tent with pipe running straight out or into res

I now have 2 tents in my small bedroom so id like one I could put just in the bedroom and it will then help both tents etc

Honestly think a cheap 20 quid one inside each tent would work better than a bigger one in same room manly when lights go of humidity can build up on inside walls of tent from the plants transpiration and an outside dehumidifier would struggle to get this i would think?

I use a large hisense dehumidifier unit that's 50 pints in my lung room and it works excellent. I keep the lung room at 50-55 rh and it pulls in that slightly lower rh air and keeps my 2 tents perfect. If the humidity goes up the extraction fans just pull more air. Seems to keep it even, even with lights off. On really humid hot days I have to empty the 1-2gal bucket once a day but usually lasts 2-3 days.

Overall it will cost more, but IMO it keeps everything more stable compared to units inside the tent fighting the extraction fans.
