The girls are looking great wiz! Are your daytime lows doing any better? If it means anything we are starting to call the folks down south in the US there "The Great White South" They have stolen the great white from us canucks!

One thing that i can say about the site now that its not all in one thread, i have more time to look over the whole forum now cause its all auto stuff

net pots...anybody tried em?

btw wat size fan u guys think id need to keep a 3x3 tent cool with a 400 watt?
movein to a new grow area so a tent or cabinet has to be the case

Used to do dwc buckets, so used net pots then.

as far as fan, that space is about the size of the closet I used to use, ran two 8" or 10" fans, blowing just over the top of the canopy. I only had 250w though and also left the door cracked a bit. Temps stayed in the low 80's w/ lights on

If you're using a tent, might want to check into getting a squirrel cage fan & suck that heat (along with the smell) outta there! Wouldn't need to go with a very high CFM one as the space isn't too big. What's the height of the tent? A tall tent will probably need a higher CFM squirrel cage fan. If you do decide to hook up a carbon filter, then I would also go with a higher CFM too

not sure what hight it will be...but thanks for the advice.
and by net pots i meant those 5 gal pots that are made out of some kinda mesh

But..the opposite one looks as if t is Two fingered..
IF it is..that is an even bigger anomoly.

Morning guys. Not doing too well over here. Woke up early with a killer tooth ache yesterday. Tried a couple home remedies (along with any thing I could get my hands on to ease the pain like, salt water, oral antiseptics and benzocaine.). Finally, after hours without the pain lifting for more than a couple minutes at a time so I stared to look around on the internet for a remedy and found Ginger. So I went to the store and got some whole Ginger Root, then made a tea with it I swished the stuff around and gargled a couple of times, and finally the pain subsided long enough for me to fall asleep. I woke up 4 hours later and the pain is still there but it has been cut by 75% I would say.

All of those commercial oral pain relievers out there and it was good old mother nature to the rescue!


To follow up on the, "Terpenoid Experiment". Today the girls are ending their second day of 12/12 and I have already noticed an increase in odor. Before the switch you would catch a faint hint of the smell once in a while. Today, it is a constant skunk/fermented fruit smell. Only after the 1st couple of days now and I would say that the darkness has made a big difference. I am not sure about keeping them in the dark for an entire 2 days before harvest, but I would definitely cut the lights down by at least 6 hours for the last 2 or 3 days. Or maybe even a week (if the smell continues to get stronger)
