Hey you guys, The sugar water method is supposed to keep the plant alive for 3 to 4 months... Hell thats all we need to finish an auto completely... I think I will start the feeding of sugar water at 8:00pm when the lights come back on...

But grafting it would work best because I saw this pic of bittersweet on the net
18.jpg
It is a single plant but bittersweet has an underground reproduction that enables many plants to grow from 1 root mass so this means that the albino one is getting food from the other plants connected to its root mass JM pm me man I NEED to talk to you about something that is very important imo...

Morning all, hope everyone is enjoying the start of their weekend. I am starting to feel like I need to keep an eye on one of my sour diesel hazes I suspect it is ready to eat it's neighbors. It is growing like it is straight out of the "Little Shop of Horrors" It is definitely larger than the other one that was started the same day.

15 days old and it is twice as big as it's sister. I think it will be busting out of that two liter in a short time.

GUESS THE DRY WEIGHT..in FullD's Thread

and we can get a dry weight comp going. I still have the monster in there and Merlin drying.

So here is the formula......10 JEMS all in .5 gal pots. Two in which were both over the 100g mark wet
one at 176 and the other at 143...

i havent posted the other weights but they ahve been averaging 25-28 g's dry

so i want to see what you guys think the total is for 10 plants in that soil in a 3x3 room with a 250.....

Here is the Link....

Man, all those albinos! that's pretty cool. I'd try to keep alive until 3rd set and then graft at least one maybe 2 (to hope for female and male to cross both ways to reg to see if verigated comes out and to see if it's btter to come from the father or the mother side) to a photo plant. Maybe the others can be used for different methods to keep alive.

Ha ha teflon..it certainly is Large..
But..
I Love the ones that show that kinda vigor early on...

I was wondering if it may be a male..but if the other has already declared fem..
it should be fem too.

Love the white Bitter sweet JM.

I Think I would go with that too.

Grafting is certainly an option..IF you can get it mature enough TO graft.
I Think Bailers went down around 10-14 days..
I know it never got to the maturity where it might have been possible.

IMO..NC...I'd try multi-potting the rest..
rip through them..rather than expect harvest..and try to pick a Semi-verigated
one again.

I'd be wanting to see the albino ratio on the cross..
because it is a Hell of a leap to go from a one-sided small leaf anomoly to full Albi..
maybe the Usual genetic multiplication rules don't apply..

infinitely Interesting...

Opps...'nother thought...
when you Blanch veggies..ie celery..asparagus...
you mound the soil up around the plant..and leave only the Tip showing.

If you could mound it...less of the plant would be available to the light..less light..less energy used trying to comvert to clorophyl.

Just a thought..

Hey Wiz check it out... 3 little albino JemxHBD...

Sweet!!!

They won't make it mate.. My albino ICU#2 never got past the cotlydon stage ;)

They are cool to look at though! :D

I was also going to try that sugar water method. But it just didn't do much. It won't get much bigger, so grafting will be out. If it was vergiated you would have a chance of keeping it.

NC. This is what everyone hopes for when they see an albino.. This is what i thought your verigated ALF was going to do.

good thought for extensions in time

Grafting CAN be done at cotyledon stage... lets try it! just leaves me wondering what the offspring would be.... same issues? or different?
