Indoor Royal Jack Auto (First Grow)

Hi, your plant has very good color and looks healthy. Once you tie the plant down it stops or slows vertical growth and promotes branch growth. Pot size can have more to do with how tall a plant will grow and more light can add bulk to both plant and buds. Most autos will stop/slow vertical growth after week five (day 37-40) so if the plant is still tied down and you have the room I would untie it.

I'm going to take your advice and go ahead and untie it, but wouldn't that give me less yield as the other bud sites will stay low down and not get as much light as the cola?

a sterling grow with cfl's pal.as the cfl's gotta be close to work that maybe why you not seeing much stretch as yet.
look nice healthy colour.
comparing is good can also be bad.if you looking at a pro grower with big lights, the likes of us cant compare to them guys grows, that dont mean we cant try.but dont be disapointed if you fall short.could take many many grows to get the green tumbs that others have, and maybe a big dollup of luck to.
keep er lit n good luck.

When you tie down the top the side branches try and take it's place which is what you want. Once bloom really gets started you can remove any lower buds that you feel won't be up to par for you. Also remember to remove a few leaves so more air and light hits the interior, this will help with yield. Take your time and keep notes, experiment and have fun. Every grow is different. Any yield is better than no yield.

Day 39
She is doing ok, I have upgraded my 125 CFL to a 300W cfl, already notice a bit more growth and temps and everything is actually better than before.
I believe I may have slightly over watered so she is a bit droopy.

Day 43, 1ml of Bloom and 1ml of Calmag
I see a little yellowing but very very small, I believe this is to do with my PH constantly fluctuating that I was unaware of but problem is solved now, I think I'll up the bloom to 2/3ml next feeding.

PH fluctuating can look like nute burn also, burnt tips of leaves. If your PH stays between 5.8 and 7.0 and the swings are less than 1.0 the plant will handle it, most of the time. PH control is maybe the most important factor in getting the most from your plant. Try to keep it between 6.3 and 6.7 for soil but coco should be lower I think. The plant may not have been able to get at the iron and could have caused the yellowing. The plant looks very good but very small. Do you still have room to raise the light? If the plant wants to grow up or branch out that would help with yield but at this time in the grow that kind of growth has stopped. I think you will be alright to up the nutes.

Yeah I got loads of room to raise the light, I'm just not sure how far to keep it away as it is only a CFL
