Hey Royal!

You have me looking at LEDs now. I was reading about the blackstar 260 and found some others that seem to be better. Im not starting anything until I have my full list down. Environmental science has me do so much research now.

What are your thoughts on using hydrogen peroxide for the extra O2? Also I was wondering if you were or had researched any other LEDs. I love the thought of a 3 year warranty even if the price is within 100 or so? I saw one other 260, which i thought was the same company your 180 came from.

On another note i was watching a video of a 360 (something like that) vs a 400 watt hps on you tube the other day. I have to say im really impressed by LEDs and really unimpressed by RIU...lol

Yeah, This was my first grow, so I started with LED, never wanted to use hps Never heard of using Hydrogen Peroxide(Im still a noob) lol, so I can't tell you anything about that, But yeah, I've be reading about alot of LEDs besides the ones I have. I was checking out the growhydroled.com's Spectra 120w but it was too expensive, I went with the Blackstar 240 and the Pro-Grow 180 because I only Had a limited amount of money, and from what i've heard they are the best bang for your buck. Be sure to stick around, I will have pics up tomorrow, I know I keep saying that but I just got my camera back lol.

The company itself gets alot of props also for customer service and quality of their products. I may actually buy it. Ive also been consolidating FD's post about his soil. I emailed him. Think hes still around? How many autos do you think you can grow with your 180?

I think it could definitely grow 3 auto's by itself, but some recommend 2 just to be sure that the plants get the most that they can from the light. This grow I'm trying 2 auto's and 3 Photoperiods under the two LED's. Im going to probably go 12/12 in about a couple days, even tho they don't recommend it for auto's. Im just doing that because I wanna grow the photo's 12/12 from beginning Pics up in a minute of the current grow

Also, I noticed that the Pro-Grow doesn't have as much red in it as the blackstar. I'm Probably going to be doing a Comparison Grow between the two lights after this grow

Dry Weight...

Forgot to tell you guys the dry weight was about 15g's. Not bad I guess for my first grow and the plant only going 40-something days
