New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

Hello Rick,

That GSC is looking great. I agree with Archie about the Inkbird controllers. I use both the 608 and 200 controllers in my room for temperature and humidity control. I find them to be accurate and reliable. I have enjoyed following along your grow, keep the updates coming.

Inkbird are great, you can't beat their thermostat's for the price... in fact Inkbird make great sensors across there whole range, you can't go wrong with any of their products

Day-32- Morning to all, Lollita is lookin good this AM. I gave her a drink of RO water, PH'd to 6.5 on 4/22. I missed out on the Easter eggs, I started, then an old friend called from up north, he was trying to teach me how to make a personal folder for his stuff on this damn computer!:wall: That took forever. Any way, Thanks @archie gemmill:thanks: for all that good info, Flowers, Pistols, heck with them, its day 32! Break their necks, oh my! Iv'e got a Inkbird 308, thanks for the pic, from Amazon on the way for $35.00, free shipping, US. Iv'e been using a speed controller also, it helps, but it could be a lot better! @Beerhunter CDN,:cool1: and @Tyler_Durden88 has talked to me a lot about the fancy toys that control the big fan. They were wireless units that worked with that talking computer thing, Alexia-- Sira??, I don't have. Someone else told me about a fan with a probe that controlled temp's, but I have a very nice Vortex 6" fan that came with a 10 year warrant that cost the same as the fan with a probe. Its only a couple of years old. I have all ways ran that big fan 24/7 before, I think I have learned by doing it by hand, the fan makes a big difference in temp's and R.H. Can't wait to get my new toy and experiment! Lollita will get her first nute's Thursday. Thanks again for all the help. Thanks to @Slater @ wagon, going to watch your grow for sure!:jointman: Happy growing----

They sure are looking great @rick-j! I actually took note from the fan discussion and decided to get away from the way I was running my system... I turned my fan to a low setting and have been running it constantly. This actually stabilized my temps and Rh significantly. I wasn’t swinging a whole lot but the set up was still dependent on temps and Rh hitting a high point before being vented out of the tent. Once again, learning as I go! Keep up the good work!!

It's fun when the brain kinda kicks in and you get good results. It takes some time and a lot of experiementing, l'm glad you learned something, that stuff is very confusing, but it is very real, all ways a battle, but battles are made to win! Good thing we have good help from all the nice people on this site. Keep it growing---:jointman:

Looking good Rick! What are you planning to run with the inkbird? Extraction fan? The cheap controller I mentioned earlier comes in a version that doesn’t work with Alexa. I really like the inkbird products as they work well and you don’t have to hardwire devices into it, you can just plug the device in and setup. You’ll love the automation

I'm planning on one day, after I get it right, to fill that tent up with 4 plant's. For now, just Lollita, she looks so lonely in there, I do enjoy all that room.:jointman: I'm still experimenting with those COB's and the nute's. Just moved to a legal medical state , I don't have to worry about going to prison for growing my med's! It makes a big difference. Last harvest I did not ask for help until 6 or 7 weeks in, did lots of stuff wrong. I've got 6 more GSC seeds left, I think I might be on the right track, I have a smaller Gorilla tent, 21/2"x2", I did start in that tent, mainly I use it for starting seeds and drying. probably should have done my 1 plant in that. I don't have that 1 hooked to a extraction fan yet.---

I really don't need a heater, i'm just going to control my extraction fan, I like the sound of, " JUST PLUG IT IN". music TO MY EARS!
