New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

Thank's man, I have been messing around with this RH this AM. It's tricky, but I think it doe's make a big difference to the growth. I got it from 31% at 5:30 am with the extraction fan on, to 57% RH with the fan off 100_1879.JPG 100_1882.JPG since these new pic's., I had to raise the light's and the leave's seem to be loving it! I need high stress training for me sometimes! Thank's for the link's-- I'll read for sure.-:jointman:

I used LST for my first grow it’s a good thing to try. More even canopy and better yields. The goal is essentially to let the lower bud sites catch up to the main cola and allow light to get through to entire plant.

Tie that girl down and see how she responds if your up to it.

I train all my plants pretty extensively and it's a must if growing indoors. As far as your extraction fan. Mine runs 24/7 on a speed controller and my temp and humidity are always consistant and it controls the odor. And you don't need a Y for two tents on the same exhaust fan. Just put the inlet in one and the exhaust in the other and connect the tents via 6 inch pipe. That way your using one carbon filter.

Iv'e had some grow's, but I never tried that LST before, it sure seem's like the plant would get a lot more light. That guy,@Tom'sinflatedballs , just started that plus topping? I would also like to maybe try that bottom leave stripping. Iv'e seen lot's of you- tube vidio's of all that fancy stuff. But first, I had better learn how to grow with the basic's for now.:jointman: I'm messing with the RH now, it's like you said before, lot's of trial & error. But it's nice to know iv'e got help on this site.
The struggle is real @rick-j lol. I found myself adjusting the heater many times to get things dialed in. The heater never reads the same as the temp/Rh probe but that’s because the light causes the heater to get hot and give false readings. My humidifier only has three settings: low, medium, and high so I found myself battling the controller as it would kick the ventilation on when Rh was high but temps were taking a huge hit. It all came down to getting the heater dialed in to keep things in check. If I could do it over, I’d get a better humidifier to adjust the Rh itself and I could use the ventilation system differently. I think this is where my saltwater aquarium knowledge kicks in... I at least have a great idea on getting multiple systems dialed in to work towards a common goal. I almost bought a Seedo just to go fully automated but who has $2-3k laying around for a system that can only do one or two girls at a time? Lol.

Also, Lollita is looking great! She’s a couple of days older than my two but it’s great to pop in and compare them to yours since we are so close in our grows. I tried my hand at FIMming this morning and gave the White Widow a haircut! I snipped what would be my fourth node. I’ll wait to see how she does and I’ll be tying her down once I’m comfortable with how she looks.

Sounds like you have to many moving parts all operating at diffrent times and settings. I know running a exhaust fan all the time isn't what most people like to do but it makes everything run smoother. The way you have everything setup your going to have spikes in heat and RH every time it turns on and off and almost makes it impossible to get a steady temp and RH. Also look into getting a sensor push from Amazon it's a wireless temp and humidy monitor that links to your phone and monitors, records and sends you alerts if either go past what you set as a limit. Mine gives me a graph showing everything and makes it easy to dial things in. You don't need 2k to make a automated grow. Drip systems are cheap and easy to build. Also i use a cheap reptile thermostat with a probe for my heater that way I get the right temp were it matters at the plant canopy.

Before my update,@Tyler_Durden88 , wow man, those girl's look so good!!! I think you have a tiny bit more of experience than me! I did notice the NY flag, can't wait, i'm a Dolphin's fan. Any way, one of these day's, after I get a little more experience, i'll start experimenting with that fancy stuff, I don't even know what mainlining is? What kind of light do you use?:jointman:

Day-26- Lollita's leave's are pointing straight up to the light's. Temp. at 77f--- RH at 57%
@FullAuto245 , Thank's man, I got lost with those pic's from Tyler. He has got some good info on fancy toy's & how to use them that might help you & me down the road. I racked my brain keeping that RH up yesterday, yes, RH is a struggle, I don't really have a heat problem, it's very Warm here. Those weed's are tuff, how many girl's have you tied up before? Look's like a lot more light get's in!:jointman:

Ya RH is a struggle I opened windows, used heat, humidifier and dehumidifier and 4 fans in a 2x4. Everyday was different in the early winter mine hovered around 45 and now is hovering around 55-60.

I tied both girls down in my tent. I have only 5 ft of height so it was important to keep them lower to avoid light stress for me. I started tying down at day 15 and tied them down even through the stretch. Mine stretched out and then a little up leaving my buds shaped like L’s. After that experience I realized these plants can handle a lot!
