RocBud Rocbudinc Genetics

Is this your first rocbud harvest? Boy you’re in for a treat. I have girls going in the dark/dry tent daily. Excited for all as they all look fire. That purple Rolex is such a solid strain. Every plant I’ve seen is covered and looks like roc hard buds I know mine are gonna be. The smaller green buds r gonna be harder but the purple still dense just not quite as hard. Roc’s gear is gonna hit mephisto level as far as popularity goes I think his consistency is beyond right now. I know I can fill a tent with nothing but fire.

@Mizzo81 yeah first one mate !! looking forward to a taste :baked: the magic cookies, purple scoops, and roc-it-fuel on day 70 tomorrow will all finish this week the roc-it-fuel finished up fast these last few days I don't think any of them will go more than a few more days I am glad to hear that you are finding so much heat in roc's strains because I have a bunch more to grow lol but yeah colour me impressed as well

Day 22 today. I took off the 2 big fans (3 leaf leaves)that were hanging over the edge of a 2gal pot. Nodes are super tight. Not much vertical growth at all but main stem just keeps getting fatter. This one has been funny since it came up. Her neighbor 4 days older is 23 inches..Not sure what happen.
Did you plant them both directly in final pot? Can be pheno related or a stress related stunting. Root issues, overwatering even 1x ever, transplant shock, pests, ect all can be culprits. Or just a funky seed in general...it csn happen. I am fully convinced that something is genetic about the G-Rocs I have going. Peace, slow

And yes @slowandeasyi know I need to cover around this stem but waiting on it to thicken a tad so I can remove that water bottle ring or if compost sets in it place when I top it off this weekend with the Oly compost! Kinda need thoughts cuz totally forgot til lights were out that I was gonna too it so should I pull net a few days and take the top so it can branch a lil wider as I spread it sideways under the net?? Got it loaded up on dams with the cfm kit finally arrived and installed too! :yay:

Thinking for dinafem girls gonna make a compost extract and may do a lil extra to add to the earthbox reservoirs? U think that’s a waste of time slow since microbes n mycelium are always abundant as is??

Both planted in final pots. I am going to try some different things to see any change that may happen.hopefully you will have better success.

Here is a picture of my 5 day old “purple roc berry auto V2” seedling that is 5 days old. PH 6.8 water for feeds at approximately 100-175 mL fed with a syringe.

I have a diesel cookies, passion punch, cookies & Chem, and a purple Rolex that are the same age. They all look to be normal coloration for seedlings.

My question to you other rocbudinc growers. Is my purple roc berry being deficient in nutrients at the moment. Or is this the genetic disposition? The growth of all of the seedlings are proportional to one another and size is the same between them all. The purple roc berry auto is growing still.
So trying to rule out nutrient deficiency or genetic phenotype.

My guess is the Fox Farm soil is not ideal for some seeds starting out. Not to mention that Fox Farm can often come with free bugs. I am not a fan of anything Fox Farm to be honest, but opinions aside, I still say the soil is prob not right for that seed starting out. Some strsins are more sensative thsn others when starting out. Doesnt look overwatered, which can cause pale growth. Also certain lights can csuse pale growth on some seedlings. May want to check lamp height. Good luck, slow

Be careful adding thing to the Rez. I advise water only in Rez, I used Orca with fine results...but any form of Tea shoukd be used as a top water. Let the rez go a little low and use some on TOP if you go that route. I am addibg Coconut flakes to water 1x per week in flower, to the Rez. But woukd avoid using Teas or compost related items in the Rez section personally. Dont want a gunky Rez.

Lights are 30” away at moment... if anything. To me it appears possibly nitrogen deficient?
Thoughts?

the second pic shows two other seedlings along with the seedling of concern. This picture was taken on Monday, so the growth is progressing along with the others, just the discoloration.
