That looks like it will be fairly easy to trim.
Def easier than some that’s for sure!

Think here in a bit gonna tcheck a nug of my grape dosi and 1 of the nugs of it out the tincture pile cuz it’s untrimmed so wanna see thc difference and if it drops drastically from kief lost during tumble trimming!

NOW I remember what I wanted to use on this run......................rice hulls!
Gotta find a source!
I got sone I’ve also been sitting on, about to incorporate them to my mix! Build-a-soil has great rice hulls

Par Boiled Rice Hulls by the bale or truckload.

Studies have proven that rice hulls can efficiently replace perlite in your potting soil mixes and is much better for the environment.

“We have independently heavy metal tested the contents and will only work with PBH for our rice hulls because of how clean they have tested. Beware of cheap rice hulls potentially full of heavy metals. “

Cocoa husk mulch. Great stuff. Available at Menards. 7 bucks 2 cu ft. Really cheap. Really good pearlite replacement. Little cups, when oriented properly in media, even hold small amounts of water. I have seen small roots that have inhabited the little cups. Smells fantastic as well

Interesting alternative. Does cocoa husk have silica in the same amount? I don't really think Kong or Sour Stomper will need additional silica than what's in the mix, but I'm getting an inkling that HBSS may benefit from it. Something fairly readily available that I could top dress in EBs.

Psyllium husk is a great source I'd silica. And cheap. Of course Rice hulls may be very cheap. Never priced them
