There's always a method to the madness. Seems Roc is dependent on an IT guy who hasn't learned coding very well. I have several family members who are IT pros who are highly paid to write the programs that manage/control every minute aspect of input/output....One keystroke can disable/enable the next switch....ain't rocket science in the right hands.
If he's using ladder logic, they're missing a couple of rungs....
I figure Roc is using a IT guy who's got a side business and hasn't invested in the most efficient programs or equipment.

There's plenty of storefront plugins that will work on a simple wordpress site that will give you pretty much anything you need. You don't have to pay big bucks to an it guy to reinvent the wheel, nor do you need to know coding. It's not like he's got 1000 gidgets to sell.

I think he switched to a company to handle it may be wrong either way he is still having issues.

I've read several posts about a subscription/membership program. Never heard of this before. Are there currently breeders doing this? If so, who?

Rocs subscription thing gonna have more than just beans for members! Stuff like clothing, keychain and some other stuff I’ve seen in advance but promised I wouldn’t blab! Def gonna be cool as shit! Also subscription doesn’t HAVE TO mean that they are real eased on a schedule for new stuff! Could just be when stuffs ready we (the subscribers) would get them 1st before going up on site for the Joe Blow’s of the world to grab! Guess we’ll see! Hoping it’s figured out sooner than later! :d5:

It's not the site, it's the traffic.

I think the site is in a shared environment, sharing resources across several sites with that kind of traffic is not ideal. That traffic spike definitely impacted the other sites on that server.

A dedicated server is best, but also significantly more expensive.
