RocBud Rocbudinc Genetics

In the 15 yrs I've grown autos, I can count on one hand the strains that were pretty much duplicates of one another...dinafem white widow xxl and short stuff purple gorilla come to mind and were all pretty much rubber stamped 'classic' auto style plants.
I do a lot of plant moving from one light system to another and often notice subtle changes according to lighting. My blurple/hps grow seems to more foliage and with the cobs/qb grow, firmer buds so yes lighting does make a difference. Pics every 2-3 days helps ya duplicate efforts.
I was gonna say white widow xxl until I recently had a different pheno compared to my buddies. Mine was different. But of the 4 I've personally seen. 3 were very very close to being same. Fine strain regardless.

Hey on average how long did your white widow xxl’s go? I am thinking about tryin to get some more of these heirloom MBKs(I smoked a tester joint last night and it’s the craziest tastin weed ever) and try to get the flowering time down on the ww xxl but keep the yield

The ww xxl I ran went around 70 days under cobs/qb and were all stubby classic short christmas trees. Same for the ss purple gorilla. Both were just run slot fillers and became the better of most grows.

Agreed Especially in 2 different environments under different lights and different pots it's hard to copy or try to duplicate. None have any purple for us so they must of taken the rocberry Gene's quite nicely. The closest I've had in same phenos so far have been cream.mandarine by sweet seeds and g14 that I grew 8 different times. 7 had very very similar qualities and shapes. As far as rest of autos I've done multiples of. Always different. With not so much of anything similar.
This is bc all these breeders aren't continuing there lines for example with tomatoes 2 f9 plants are needed to make a f1 so when it's taken to f4 there are many phenotypic traits still which is why it's like this obviously grow conditions can influence the traits expressed if we had these genetics @ f9 there wouldn't be much if any variations anyway I hope to see some f9s from a breeder before I get any of mine there I'm really not sure why there aren't besides time and money.

That's a great outdoor strain by the way even in limited direct sunlight and does very well against bud rot and pests and as mentioned yields even with a lack of light lots of northern European peeps swear by this strain.

Hey Derek, I know MBK is a Heirloom Strain but which one is it again? And we’re you able to establish contact with the Breeder again? Sorry for the off topic, thanks man.

Would it have anything to do with potency and vigor ? Thought I've read somewhere down the line after a certain point it starts degrading in the breeding process.i may wrong though.

I got a buddy trying some outdoor next season. Excited to see results. Especially after hearing this.
