Ya no waste is how I am roots stalks everything get reused in some way 0 waste in my grows now that wasn't always the case but through experimenting I've found ways to use every piece. And that grain is so much nicer to work with and the end product if eating raw oil is much better tasting now how did u like drying a bit extra and was it easier dealing with the trim job bc I do a partial wet trim removing any leaf that has zero trichs on it then dry and trim the rest .

I do to every fan and water leaf come off before hanging and then the sugar leafs come off last and ya was def easier! If I was selling may want it lil more moist so was accidentally breaking some buds in half but as personal don’t really mind it!

Ya I keep 95% of mine and freeze it for concentrates as the quality is better overall and most stuff here dispenseries or street there is little flavor in comparison and mine seems to be better medicinally which is a bonus I'm going to try that with a bit this time. Love trying new things which I will do soon I'm also going to give ur brush method a go.

Yeah its the same with dispensaries here. A lot of it is pretty bland. Even a lot of the “top shelf” priced shit. Such a rip off.

My last harvest the flavors were a little milder than i had hoped, but it was still tastier than 80% of the dispensary herb I have bought. I’m never going back. :smoking:

I plan to dry the plant right side up and I think it will work well as the leaves will hopefully not shrivel around the bud but we will see and when I trim I'm careful so I plan to take same approach

Bho which I redisolve in grain alcohol and winterize about as close to plants smell as u can get tastes wise I freeze everything alcohol/material ect to preserve as many terps as possible

Most that u lose is off the leafs but I can tell u I lose just as much or more with scissors cuz of how many times I gotta turn a bud in my hand to get the leafs where brush will take whole side of leafs off and it being silicone it grabs the leafs and the texture just pulls em off! This was last row of branches what I lost!

Noticed tho the buds still equally caked in resin after using the brush to trim!

Not to mention usually will take me about 3 hours on some normal smoke (for leaf to bud ratio) and with the brush and also letting bud dry more so wasn’t as wet and moist didn’t lose many trichs and only took 55min to trim an entire row of the rack!

Just had to roll me a swisher old school style....

Scraped together the dry sift off my trim bin and put a fat line down middle of my blunt! It was 1/2n1/2 purple roc berry and toofless alien!

It really makes lotsa sense the way u explained it! Unfortunately I'm a lazy bastard LOL. I take fan leaves and just trim around to make it a little even, leaving heavily coated short sugar leaves alone. I can always remove them when I grind them but mostly don't. Its just too much work lol. Don't taste too different to be worth the effort in my very humble opinion.
