RocBud Rocbudinc Genetics

Ya we on day 24 here from as close to direct planting as I could! Started in a jiffy so I could control temp/rh inside where it was and then once stood up just popped that into EB jr! 24 days in....

Just wanted everyone to know the difference in using h2o2 to start seeds vs not. I popped 2 Grape Dosi Breathe in water, but didnt have h2o2. They both opened up, but didnt have long tails when planted. Being how I am, I started 2 more and used a drop of h2o2 as usual. These 2 seeds have longer tails in 1/2 the time as without h2o2. Just sharing my findings as I beieve a healthy start sets the tone. With Autos its all about root health and growth. Excellent germ rates with @RocBudInc, but the faster and healthier the start the better IMO. Peace, slow
Recent scientific studies back up the effectiveness of chemically scarifying seeds by soaking them in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Hydrogen peroxide is thought to increase germination rates by breaking down the seed coat, thus allowing the seed to take in more oxygen. In a study reported in the journal "HortScience," aged corn seeds (Zea mays L.) treated with a solution of 15 percent hydrogen peroxide germinated at a significantly greater percentage (nearly 95 percent) than seeds treated with aerated water but no hydrogen peroxide (67 percent germination rate). In addition, oxygen consumption rates of seeds soaked for 24 hours in the hydrogen peroxide solution were approximately twice as high as seeds soaked in aerated water for the same time.

I had to go ahead and order me that nice ass 12” slap to go up in the tent! 2x4 all covered on inside and have a spot left that’ll fit plus the small slaps from last seed purchase for the 3 new strains!

As more commercial growers start using them, it will happen
If the @RocBudInc stuff is as good as represented it will happen. Wonder how the math works on power consumption/time to harvest. Also they have clones going which speeds up the photo process; however, they need more room and power for the clone section, veg section, flower section...
The entire facility could be one light cycle. Seed to harvest...

A friend of mine that grows has been around for looooong time growing and is close friends with Daz (from Night Owl but formerly was with Meph) and he told him about their stupid new setup to reproduce seeds! May cause me to change my IG name to Organic_Roc_Smoka instead once I have a Roc harvest I’m smoking on! :smokeit:
Hmm, maybe why the white crack they sent grew about an inch and stopped

Ya that’s nuts cuz WC supposed to be a strain that gets massive! It def is usually a tent hog that’s for sure! That whole process has me turned off from buying more from them! I prefer Rocs in house-on site breeding in the craft style! Selective about which plants u cross and not just cross any of 2 of same strain just to make more seeds! With the deficiency I been dealing with plus the gnats that damn frosted cookies getting thick ass buds and she’s in a .5gal! Had I also got timing down faster on that small of a pot prob woulda been ginormous! :vibe:

Wait for real?? Where did you hear about Mephisto? Because that’s kind of a dealbreaker for me — I don’t like outsourcing. Bummer cos I just dropped $500 on their seeds in the last 4 months.
mephisto is over priced dinafem and rocbud are cheaper and imho better as far as consistantly producing a quality plant I've seen personally even 2.5yrs ago big problems with there genetics with grimspoon like plants and with there seeds being 15$ each roughly or higher I just couldn't bring myself to purchase anything else from them since my first order all mephisto strains I've gotten since have been free or I wouldn't have them the first strain I tried was 24carat which was good smoke but I only had 2 cone out the same the rest were all over as far as plant/bud structure and terps I grew 6 total 3 the first time then 3 more and for it being there most refined strain I wasn't impressed. Also it makes sense that they have contracted growers bc in the last 18 months seedsman has been offering almost identical strains like sour bubbly deep blue c ect so that explains it in my mind.
