RocBud Rocbud & Rain science...lets get it on

I dont know yet but it does effect yield. I'm keeping the fox tail for testing how the smoke is and for butter.
Maybe you found like a hidden phenotype or something lol , like I thought purple dodgers was indica dominant but maybe this is a sativa leaning pheno or something with that has very low likelihood of being seen per 100 seeds germinated or something.....I have heard fox tailing is often a genetic trait - still looks amazing IMO

First I through that the light were to close but the alien Moonrocks didn't fox tail and they were next to each other, so I think its genetic. @TxRebel/Mark did one and I like his!

Naaaaaa......you didn't do anything wrong. I know ya LST'd her, but she really didn't have the "normal" Roc girl structure. She's got thinner leaning stems and I think her fan leaves kinda lean more sativa than the majority of his stock. It's gotta be genetics.
The only other thing that's a possibility is maybe she didn't need the last top dressing.with your soil mix and ya have to admit you have a stout compost tea.

The other girl looks too damn good for it to be anything but genetics, in which it will normally foxtail or needs something different in the grow for it not to foxtail before finishing.

The only time I’ve had really bad foxtailing was on my Mephisto double grape and I think it was cuz temps in flower kept hitting 85+ and during lights out 75% rh! Once I got dehumidifier and figured out how to keep it manageable with intake and exhaust fans haven’t had issue! I have seen others with bad foxtailing issues on other roc strains but not sure why it happens! If was same strain could say possible genetics issue but was diff!
And once buds form if it starts to foxtail LATE it’ll just add some extra weight to flowers! If it starts at the beginning then instead of calyces forming beside 1 another where can add multiple layers onto buds they instead stack 1 on top another so makes really skinny buds that’ll def yield less unfortunately!

Day 86
Cop, chop day! So she fox tail bad. The whole plant. Top to bottom!

Going to cut her down later this morning.

So I'm in trim jail now doing my Purple Dodgers and look what I came across.

And the fox tail buds. I see that a few of his seeds are like this. Right now he got 3 on his site that shows the same thing.
