Lighting Ripster's home thread

Here's my organic nute line up. Just started the Purple Jem (which I haven't taken any pics of yet, on week 2)

Those propagation plugs by "Sure to Grow'' are nice. But I killed my first plant in these (new to me) grow plugs. They hold alot of water and I wasn't thinking when I put the plug into the soil. The soil absorbed all the water and dried up my plant. My fault. The plugs would be perfect for hydro, being that's what they were made for...

What is the purpose of defoliating? I would think that it would be counterproductive. How is the plant going to finish properly during flushing if there aren't any fan leaves to pull energy from? Sorry for the ignorant questions, but it's something I've always wondered.

Actually, I didn't cut any leaves off. I had a ph problem and I locked out some of the nutes by accident. She was a sativa dom. plant anyway. Meaning she was very easy to clean for harvest...Nice thin leaves. Hell, she turned out pretty good for having a ph problem though...

No question is ignorant my friend...Ask away if you have a question. I'll answer it to the best of my knowlage...

thanks.. I said ignorant, because by definition ignorant is not knowing.. So I was being redundant.. Any question you don't know the answer to is technically an ignorant question.. LOL

I've been wondering this myself, almost looks like fiberglass. I haven't had one in my possession to know for sure.
