This is very nice... Notice that it's 80 and steady in the room and 85 and rising outside. The new space is in the background and as you can see, baking in the heat of the day...
Big deal right? Oh yeah because the a/c is not hooked up yet... Talk about a good thermodynamic test of the building... Lots of real good data here.
What's best is that this location is making it easy to accomplish this as the river valley whips up cool breezes by 8pm and temps drop to the 60s all summer.
Up until today, I've just been scrubbing with a ten inch can and scrub/venting with a six inch can and six inch air inlet at the northeast end of the space... The max temp has crept to 85 after lights on at 6pm which is always 78 and steady by dawn...
I seriously doubt I can hold things down after lights on but will see how long I can keep it closed up until it hits 90... By then it'll be cool outside and I will just open the doors and crank up the scrubbers and let the place air for an hour or so until the walls and floors cool down...
AC will be done soon... In the meantime I'm making the best of my HD Thoreau'ian experience...
