Many moons ago I traveled to a place called Mosquito Bay to do some bass fishing . I would not go outside after sunset that's how bad it was but their was an man of 80 some years called us pansies and would fish till dark and never get bitten . .
maybe us old guys smell bad enough to drive them away, hahaha. Seriously though, over the years the bites have become less reactive to my body. I'll be with a group of villagers(natives) and their all getting way twitchy about the bugs, and pointing at the ones all over me and me like, no worries. I embrace everything within my environment, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful, so I'm not at war with my home, I'm sure this helps too. Oh yeah, proper clothing when bugs bad reduce exposure to acceptable levels, for me.
