Well I am not an expert at electrical but I learn by watching, I will I am sure try to build my Own cob lighting system.

There has been quite a few members on here that built their own and are killing it with them!! There is a diy lighting section....https://www.autoflower.org/forums/do-it-yourself-led-building.343/

I wont hate, neither do i want to teach you 2 bad but i'd send the unti back if i could and get other lights. For 1200 bucks youll get far more advanced and efficient light brother. get @BigSm0 or @GrowNorthern if you really want some caftmanship that is reliable. Those are outdated and since you want to keep your lights for a longer time and good LED or COB units will last this should be youre main concern that you get some stuff thats not just barely working. Also Sanlight S4W units are good to go, i am just doing a review you may want to take a closer look.

There are also many Lights Manufacturers onsite that are well proven and i would just like to give you the advice to rethink the whole thing if you still can send them back.

the light I got was not 1200 that was one of the first video's I had see where the light was 1200 bucks, I paid 139 for a 600 watt LED light

with a limited budget,( I had help from friends) with the cost of tent and light the rest has been me I have been slowly working to get everything it started out really 3 months ago. and I am in the final stages of getting everything. a fixed income does not help that is for sure.

Hey buddy....I don't want you to think we're baggin' on your light...because that is certainly not the case. That thing will totally grow some weed...and pretty good weed at that, probably. There is one thing I would like to teach you, though about LED manufacturers. Its all about marketing for them...they'll call it 600 watts...but the true wattage is measured at the wattage consumption, which for that light is 277 watts. I have a "1200" watt led....it pulls a little less than 600 at the wall....but its not the same as say, a 1000 watt (true watt) hps light or something.

I bet every body here has paid for something they weren't happy with, and we hate to see it happen with others. If at all possible, return that light, and buy a single autocob (exact same price as what you spent), and buy another one when you can, and so on. 4 of them in that tent will be freaking awesome, and will last you forever! And if growing isn't for you, I guarantee you will not have a problem selling them!

Like I said...we're just trying to help a brother out!
